I'm tempted to say who cares but....

1. Marquette King

Great leg, can run when needed and, personally, I liked the swagger. Sorry to see him go and I think Gruden might be too eventually.

2. Shane Lechler

Anyone who's watched us for the last couple of decades know that we're a breading ground for good Punters. It's the opportunity to do it so often!

3. Johnny Hecker

4. Thomas Morstead

5. Riley Dixon

1. Johnny Hecker - Absolute weapon, for a newly tooled Rams Defense

2. Brett Kern - Best average and net last year as well as joint longest punt in 2017 with no TDs returned. Thats more than a decent return

3. Shane Lechler - the old man keeps on going, with more wit to his game in recent years

4. Britton Colquitt - Keeping the Colquitt kicking dynasty going. One of the best Inside 20's to Touchbsack ratio's in the league

5. Marquette King - Great leg, but no wants dramas from their punter do they? Should enjoy himself in the rarified air of Denver

My knowledge of today's punters is extremely limited, would be interesting to have some detail on how left-footedness and directional punting is valued as averages only tell part of the story.

1. Johnny Hekker (Rams) - The rest of the world seems to think he's the best....so I will too.
2. Chris Jones (Cowboys) - The one I watch the most. Pins plenty of teams inside the 20 on a regular basis, and runs the odd fake punt for a 1st down too.
3. Shane Lechler (Texans) - HoF, but getting up there in years now.
4. Dustin Colquitt (Chiefs) - Seems a pretty consistent punter.
5. Andy Lee (Cardinals) - Seems to have been around for a while, a former All Pro, and always finds a team.

How much of a Punters stats are determined by the rest of the punt unit though? It's hard to know how much weight some punters stats hold.
