Moaning about lads drinking beer and having a laugh at a sporting event and then complaining about not getting a good mobile reception.

Hahaha

Don't shout loud, you might disturb the kids.

And we need merch on to be a real fan.

Are you lot serious!?

Maybe you are what is wrong with the atmosphere. Ever thought about that?

I don't think the 'real fan' is the problem here.

If the NFL wants to create a true NFL atmosphere then you need lots of noise!
but merchandise is not necessary.

I remember watching the Cowboys against the Eagles at Texas Stadium in 1992 when I was a boy and it was an incredible loud atmosphere but we had Eagles fans sat next to us and in front of us. The Eagles fans in front of us got thrown out for being drunk and generally making a nuisance of themselves. This is what we don't want.

I never said you had to have merch on to be a real fan, don't twist my words. I said most real fans do most non-fans don't. Who do you think is most likely to buy merchandise? People who are fans of something or people who are not fans of something?

the mobile data reception was noticeably worse this year than I've found it previously though. that's true.

Again, not for me on EE. I streamed NFL Gamepass live on my phone. What network are you on?

I think it's no coincidence that EE customers can get good reception while everyone else struggles.

Who sponsors Wembley again?

I took a workmate with me who has been getting into it and is keen to learn more.
Unfortunately, he needed to use the toilet towards the end so after the Titans touchdown I told him to go now as they'll take the kick and will be back in plenty of time for OT.
Took me ages to explain how the game ended to him!

That's exactly what I said too! What I'm interested to know is is it because they've put super strong pasts over the top of the stadium, or are they somehow jamming the other networks? I think it's most likely to be the former, because friends on Vodafone do seem to be able to use their phones OK, it's just those on 3 and o2 who cannot. To be honest it was a big reason I switched to a SIM that used EE network (Virgin) because I was sick of not having mobile every time I go to Wembley. Which has been about 12-15 times in the past year I'd guess.

To be honest my data speeds are much quicker on this SIM everywhere in London than they were with 3. Like 5 times quicker. So I'm not sure it's entirely a conspiracy.
