Fair point if Matt "Franchise Record" Flynn broke records again this season? But then he had to be parachuted in because McAdoo's selection as backup wasn't up to scratch and they couldn't gameplan well enough to make a very talented team succeed with Tolzein under centre.

tbf he was there 3rd choice QB and our back up would of been Painter so

most teams dont have a good back and most of them seem to be on teams with a weak starter.

Yeah, that's fair. Seneca Wallace looked terrible before his injury but was probably good enough in the medium term to have done a decent job with such talent around him. Harsh of me to hold McAdoo to account for that as he didn't have a chance to make Wallace work.

Seriously though, I think Jacobs would have been a fantastic fit for the 49ers O-line both last season and this one. Far better than Kendal Hunter. It would have preserved Gore more too and kept him with more gas for the post-season. But then it probably takes a special kind of coaching staff to tolerate Jacobs!

i'm glad Diehl has decided to retire, he will go down as an important player but the last couple of years have been painful.

it took a year too long but glad to see that Strahan is now a hall of famer.

after a good FA period, normal service has been returned.

Will Hill is likely to be axed, after another drugs test failure

a talented dope, we are still ok at safety but now not as strong and it probably goes on our list of lesser needs for the draft.
