I take it Tyreek’s missing out because of the off field stuff, not because you think Emmanuel Sanders is a better WR?

Yep, wouldn't want a player who misses half of the season.

NFC East Dream Team

QB: Carson Wentz (Philadelphia)
RB: Saquon Barkley (New York Giants)
WR: Alshon Jeffery (Philadelphia)
WR: Amari Cooper (Dallas)
WR: DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia)
TE: Zach Ertz (Philadelphia)
LT: Tyron Smith (Dallas)
LG: Brandon Brooks (Philadelphia)
C: Jason Kelce (Philadelphia)
RG: Zack Martin (Dallas)
RT: Lane Johnson (Philadelphia)

DE: Brandon Graham (Philadelphia)
DT: Fletcher Cox (Philadelphia)
DT: Tyrone Crawford (Dallas)
DE: DeMarcus Lawrence (Dallas)

OLB: Jaylon Smith (Dallas)
MLB: Leighton Vander Esch (Dallas)
OLB: Ryan Kerrigan (Washington)

CB: Byron Jones (Dallas)
CB: Janoris Jenkins (New York Giants)
FS: Rodney McLeod (Philadelphia)
SS: Malcolm Jenkins (Philadelphia)

K: Aldrick Rosas (New York Giants)
P: Chris Jones (Dallas)

Head Coach: Doug Pederson (Philadelphia)
Uniform: Washington Redskins
Stadium: AT & T Stadium (Dallas)

When fit, Carson Wentz is an MVP-Quality Quarterback and easily takes the Quarterback position in this league. Barkley is better than Elliott and my Wide Receivers compliment each other well. The Philadelphia and Dallas Offensive lines are insane and forced some tough decisions. Smith is probably the best left tackle and has age on his side for me to pick him and Lane Johnson is good enough for me to avoid picking a left tackle on the right. Each team has a very good Guard, with Zack Martin being my favourite of the four and I picked Jason Kelce over Frederick because of Frederick missing 2018 game time.

Dallas Offensive players: 3
New York Giants Offensive players: 1
Philadelphia Offensive players: 7
Washington Offensive players: 0

Similar to Philadelphia and Dallas’ Offensive Lines, their defensive lines given the AFC South a good run. Ryan Kerrigan has the build, size and ability to jump in as a 4-3 linebacker in my lineup. A year ago, Jenkins and Josh Norman would have been my Cornerbacks, but Byron Jones has leaped them. Jenkins and Norman are very similar in ability, but I went with Jenkins who has had more recent success.

Dallas Defensive players: 5
New York Giants Defensive players: 1
Philadelphia Defensive players: 4
Washington Defensive players: 1

Total Dallas players: 9
Total New York Giants players: 3
Total Philadelphia players: 11
Total Washington players: 1

The ‘B Team’

QB: Dak Prescott (Dallas)
RB: Ezekiel Elliott (Dallas)
WR: Nelson Agholor (Philadelphia)
WR: Sterling Shephard (New York Giants)
WR: Golden Tate (New York Giants)
TE: Evan Engram (New York Giants)
LT: Jason Peters (Philadelphia)
LG: Kevin Zeitler (New York Giants)
C: Travis Frederick (Dallas)
RG: Brandon Scherff (Washington)
RT: Trent Williams (Washington)

DE: Jonathan Allen (Washington)
NT: Daron Payne (Washington)
DE: Matt Ioannidis (Washington)

OLB: Robert Quinn (Dallas)
ILB: Sean Lee (Dallas)
ILB: Zach Brown (Philadelphia)
OLB: Derek Barnett (Philadelphia)

CB: Josh Norman (Washington)
CB: Ronald Darby (Philadelphia)
FS: Jabrill Peppers (New York Giants)
SS: Landon Collins (Washington)

K: Jake Elliott (Philadelphia)
P: Tress Way (Washington)

Head Coach: Jay Gruden
Uniform: New York Giants
Stadium: FedExField (Washington)

Only note I want to make about the B team is that I had to select the Washington front three, but with the lack of depth in the Washington and Giants linebacker corps, I was forced to put four Dallas and Philadelphia players in different positions to what they normally play.

Dallas ‘B Team’ players: 5
New York Giants ‘B Team’ players: 5
Philadelphia ‘B Team’ players: 6
Washington ‘B Team’ players: 8

Total Dallas A & B Team players: 14
Total New York Giants A & B Team players: 8
Total Philadelphia A & B Team players: 17
Total Washington A & B Team players: 9

OC: Jason Kelce (Eagles)
OG: Zack Martin (Cowboys)
OT: Lane Johnson (Eagles)

LB: Jaylon Smith (Cowboys)
LB: Leighton Vander Esch (Cowboys)
LB: Zach Brown (Eagles)

S: Landon Collins (Redskins)
S: Malcolm Jenkins (Eagles)

P: Chris Jones (Cowboys)

Head Coach: Doug Pederson (Eagles)
Uniform: Dallas Cowboys (either White or Blue)
Stadium: AT&T Stadium (Cowboys)

Wentz might be the better passer, but the stats don't reflect that. Dak's toughness and durability can't be questioned though whereas Wentz has had his injury issues.

No way Zeke or Saquon are being left out. Split one out into the slot, keep one in the backfield. RPO with those two and Dak would be tough.

Trent Williams might be the best OT in the division when healthy, but like Tyron he's had his issues. How good are linemen in the East when Lane Johnson is the no. 3 tackle! Brandon Scherff was a LT in college so I gave him the nod at LG over Brooks. Frederick and Kelce are both great, but until Frederick shows he's all the way back from his illness its hard to include him over Kelce.

The one thing lacking in the East is CB's. A lot of young options now but nothing proven. Went with an aging Norman just because he can annoy opposing WR's.

Pederson has won a SB. Cowboys uniforms are iconic. AT&T is a spaceship. Done.

Had to go with both running backs here. Golden Tate is a very good slot receiver but I reckon Barkley probably gives you just as much splitting out there and obviously the run game would be terrifying. If I had had to choose it would have been Elliott, he just keeps on schedule better but Barkley's so good that it might not matter - he'll probably end his career the higher rated of the two as he does more in the passing game and needs a line less.

Safety again is a pain because clearly the best two safeties are both guys who prefer to be up around the line of scrimmage. We'll make it work, Jenkins can play anywhere.

Doing a second team because it's the division I know.

NFC Almost Dream Team

DE: Brandon Graham (Eagles)

P: Tress Way (Redskins)

Head Coach: Jay Gruden (Redskins)

Stadium: Meadowlands (Giants)

Just look at that O Line! All pro bowlers, 3 all pros. No one's running on that defence either although the corners are a bit rubbish. 3 linebackers for the Cowboys, give the devil their due, they're good at that position.

Some tough choices on the line with very talented players left out. Could have easily chosen Trent Williams or Jason Peters and slid Tyron to the right, but Lane Johnson is too good and already players there. Zeitler and Brooks were also tough cuts at guard whilst Travis Frederick is a huge talent at C, but a medical question mark. Really had no trouble selecting the skill positions.

EDGE: Demarcus Lawrence (Cowboys)
DT: Jonathan Allen (Washington)
DT: Fletcher Cox (Eagles)
EDGE: Brandon Graham (Eagles)

LB: Jaylon Smith (Cowboys)

CB: Byron Jones (Cowboys)

Lots of talent in the front 7, whereas in the secondary it's more just recognisable names at this point.

K: Aldrick Rosas (Giants)
P: Chris Jones (Cowboys)

Coach: Doug Pederson
Uniform: Cowboys
Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
