http://www.theguardian.com/football/...as-galatasaray - Turkey is crazy. Seriously they should be kicked out of UEFA if they cannot police their league properly, players and fans should feel safe when they go to a game.

![]() They've had issues for years, and I expect the people in power all have ties to the big Istanbul clubs too (Galatasaray, Fenerbache, and Besiktas). That allegiance probably hinders progress. Like the article says, despite the money, surely foreign stars will turn their back on the Turkish leagues soon. If trouble spills over into European competition too, then I think UEFA would be quicker to act. |

Karlsruhe back in it in the Bundesliga 2 promotion race, wining away against Eintracht Braunschweig and with Darmstadt losing and Kaiserslautern drawing.
Into 3rd place with a game to go, a point behind Darmstadt, but with slightly better goal difference. Both have winnable home fixtures, although St. Pauli are the form side in the league at the moment with 4 wins from the last 5. |

Can't see the logic in firing Ancelotti a year after he got Real the 10th Champions League they've been wanting for so long to replace him with Rafa Benitez

Karlsruhe will face Hamburg in a play-off.
No pressure then, just trying to relegate the only team that has never been relegated from the Bundesliga.... |

Yeah Klopp would be the ideal guy right? But then again looking for logic in the way Perez runs Madrid is foolish. Guess they'll buy Hazard for £120m this season.

Which is more than most
Perez is someone who has helped turn Real into the economic force it is, and believes that resetting the programme every year or so works. In some ways it does and the Decima helps Perez in selling this continuing cycle, but in terms of the hundreds of millions spent, 2 La Liga titles in 7 years is a pretty underwhelming return. As for coaches its a great gig - a maximum 2 years graft and a handsome pay off the end of it |
