I pretty sure it used to be free. Still, you can't argue with 10 bucks return can you .

If you go StubHub you can print the tickets before you go so you know you've got them 100% and it saves a lot of worries.

If anyone has been over before any tips you could give on transport would be greatly appreciated, from what I can see the train service seems to be the best. Half tempted to pay the fortune cab fare to get there mega early & join the tailgate.
I will be there too! Section 116. Going with the Mrs, we hope to be with Tailgate Joe by 8:30 am!!

How are you planning on getting over to the stadium that early?

I'm tempted t get there that early but I doubt my girlfriend will be too enamoured with the idea of arriving over 4 hours early in the December weather

We are staying near Newark airport, and it looks like a short easy trip by train. Take her shopping to make up for it!

I went to the Jets v Bills game and stayed at the Hilton Newark Penn station and used the New Jersey transit train but you need to change at Secaucus Junction to get a train which stops right outside the stadium but the first train from Secaucus to the Meadowlands does not leave until just after 10-30 and arrives 10 minutes later.
A return (they give you 2 seperate tickets) was $10.50 but if you use the airport stop they charge a lot more.

If your main focus of going to NY is to see the Jets then you should look into staying in or around Jersey City. Much cheaper than NYC but easy enough to get to and from to do the tourist stuff and also very easy to get to the stadium.
