I'd like to thank all the Jaguars fans for this thread. With all the gash that goes on (and having the hassle and abuse I get for moderating), it really is nice to drop back into this thread every so often where there is never any hassle, just friendly, decent people.

I have to say I'm glad we lost today. We would only have been owned in the playoffs - at least this way we get a higher draft pick and possibly a slightly easier schedule by finishing last and getting KC and Cleveland again (although that said I imagine both will be improved on this year)

Bravo! Bravo! Brought a tear to my eye! Honestly dont know how you put up with doing the moderating and still enjoy using the site, I wouldn't have the patience to do it and not get paid or compensated some other way personally.

I have to agree Paul. I tend to stick to Jags related topics just because I know that you can have a few laughs but stay on topic. Some of the rubbish posted on other topics is stupid. My hat comes off to you I don't know how you put up with being a mod. Might sound daft but I enjoy watching games with you guys especially with yourself Joe and am looking forward to it again for next season already. Hopefully we will gain a few more regular posters for next season.

We start training again in the next couple of weeks ready for the start of the BAFL season but I will try and get on the boards more in my spare time and post more frequently than I did last season.

Time to get this going again with TC starting on Friday?

Denver Broncos H Win
San Diego Chargers A Loss
Phildelphia Eagles H Loss
Indianapolis Colts H Loss
Buffalo Bills A Win
Tennesee Titans H Win
Kansas City Chiefs A Win
Dallas Cowboys A Loss
BYE
Houston Texans H Win
Cleveland Browns H Win
New York Giants A Loss
Tennesee Titans A Loss
Oakland Colts H Win
Indianapolis Colts A Loss
Washington Redskins H Win
Houston Texans A Win

8-8, don't think we we'll be 1-3 but just couldn't give us the win over the colts, which would be the one i'd change

Was just about to post my predictions but just realised that i predicted the same
but at 9-7 we could get a wildcard spot and if we win colts at home then it at 10-6 we really should

Right, lets have a go at this then........

Denver Broncos H Win
San Diego Chargers A Win
Phildelphia Eagles H Loss
Indianapolis Colts H Win
Buffalo Bills A Win
Tennesee Titans H Win
Kansas City Chiefs A Win
Dallas Cowboys A Win
BYE
Houston Texans H Loss
Cleveland Browns H Win
New York Giants A Loss
Tennesee Titans A Loss
Oakland Raiders H Win
Indianapolis Colts A Loss
Washington Redskins H Win
Houston Texans A Loss

10-6

Looks like a tough second half of the season after the Bye to me. I'd be more than happy with 10-6 and a chance of a wildcard spot.

I agree with all of those, but im unsure of what will happen in the Eagles game i reckon we might just win that one, but will probably pick up another loss from somewhere, but i couldt say where. But i do agree with 10-6

10-6?? Wow you guys are confident. The vegas over under is 7 and many media outlets in the US have us at 4-6 wins. That's quite a difference. Though I'm happy to be wrong.
Here are my (unfortunately) far more pessimistic predictions.

Denver Broncos H W
San Diego Chargers A L
Phildelphia Eagles H L
Indianapolis Colts H L
Buffalo Bills A W
Tennesee Titans H L
Kansas City Chiefs A W
Dallas Cowboys A L
BYE
Houston Texans H W
Cleveland Browns H W
New York Giants A L
Tennessee Titans A L
Oakland Raiders H W
Indianapolis Colts A L
Washington Redskins H W
Houston Texans A L

That's 7-9 for me. I have a sneaky feeling that we may even be 6-10, but I can't figure which of the others should be flipped.
To be fair it all depends on Garrard and what kind of season he has.
Having said all this I think it'll be a far more rosier a year next year with another year under belts and hopefully the QB of the future.
