Default Saturday Night Drinks (Wembley)

Would anyone be up for meeting at a bar/pub on the Saturday of the Niners game just to chat, socialise and make merry with other Jag fans?

I've got no idea of where would be best in London, but I'm guessing someplace near to Trafalgar Square so we can meet after the rally. Suggestions from those in the know would be most welcome!

I'm hoping to get a decent gathering together and possibly some media from Jax to meet and speak to British fans and members of Union Jax.

What do ya recon chaps and chappettes?

I'd be up for a meet up. I would suggest somewhere that will have the cfb on.

There are a few options for CFB, the only thing I don't know is how late they would open, in terms of being able to watch the late (1am games)

Sports Cafe in Haymarket is a 5 minute stroll from Trafalgar Square and they will show the college football. It's a bit big and commercial but if you get numbers and tell them in advance the jaguars uk fan club are coming then I think they'd make an effort to reserve and area.

Unfortunately they only sell lagers and bottled beers but the food is very good - burgers, pizza etc.

I would be keen on meeting up. Don't know London well enough to recommend a place to go though. Not been for about 12 years

I'll be up for a few drinks. All being well I hope to be going to the fan rally (assuming there is one). There is the Moon On The Mall just two minutes walk from Trafalgar Square on the right hand side as Nelson looks down Whitehall. Also The Old Shades on the left. I assume there are still there (they were last year) they are my old drinking haunts when I used to work in Whitehall.

The Moon is an old Barclays bank so quite big and a chain pub so food is available if required. The Shades is smaller and doesn't (well didn't do) food. If you want a more 'spit and sawdust' pub there is one (again was!) about five minutes away up Charing Cross Road in one of the side roads that links Charing Cross Road and St Martin Lane they used to do really got old fashonied pies in clay pots and did a fine array of real ales; although I am a cider drinker.

To be honest there loads of pubs near by as well as Walker Wine bar and Champagne Charlie where, ahem, 'professional' ladies would offer to keep you company!

I only drink cider as well mate so not keen on going somewhere you can only get Magners at £10 per bottle. Cheap and cheery will do me!

The trouble you will have in the west end is that the cheap and cheerful places wont be showing the college football or ESPN.
