Default Week 5 - DET vs BUF score predictions

Hi all,

Game time is coming up - any predictions on what the score will be?

I'm going for a 24-21 victory for the Lions

something about that D-Line which makes me think it's not going to be as close as all the experts say

Until we get a kicker who doesn't completely suck we're going to keep losing these games and making wins closer than they need to be.

Didn't see the thread until just now otherwise I'd have given a score.

Fancied us to win though.

It's not just the way we didn't win, it's the way that they won that rubs it in

I agree, we need a kicker who can actually kick!

I was disappointed by the offence as a whole with the exception of Winn who did a great job in stepping up on his first NFL game. Give him a few more games and we'll have a fantastic athlete on our hands!

Tate once again did a brilliant job of showing that he has potential to be a number 1 receiver if we need him to be. Now if only Johnson could come back to fighting strength.....

I think it shows how little character Jim Schwartz has after his celebration at the end, there aren't many Lions fans who disliked him before this game, a lot more now after the game.

The O has been a bit off since week 1. For me personally I'm not all that hot on Joe Lombardi's play calling. Stafford has blown hot and cold, but he is playing at a far higher level than last season - but the OCs use of the run is, for me, baffling. Firstly the Lions seem to run it up the gut (usually getting 1 yard) about 75% of the run plays. Bush, especially, to the outside has seen some great gains - then the Bills game was so frustrating. Winn comes in, is getting somewhere with the run, the 2nd half starts, and thats it - hardly any run calls, what was that about. No wonder the Bills D had an easy game if the Lions are going to be so obvious.

The kicker situation obviously doesn't help, just like the Carolina game the scoreline should have been much more comfortable, but the whole offense has to take some blame for not putting it to bed.

as for the D - its mighty, its winning games, and keeping the team in games - the D must come off the field in these defeats and just want to punch the rest of them for screwing it up.

Makes you wonder what things would have been like if we'd hung onto Kickalicious.
