QB: Aaron Rodgers (Packers)
RB: Dalvin Cook (Vikings)
WR: Davante Adams (Packers)
WR: Stefon Diggs (Vikings)
WR: Adam Thielen (Vikings)
TE: TJ Hockenson (Lions)

LT: David Bakhtiari (Packers)
LG: Cody Whitehair (Bears)
C: Corey Linsley (Packers)
RG: Kyle Long (Bears)
RT: Bryan Bulaga (Packers)

Really poor choice at RB and guard, forcing me into a 3 WR set and shifting Whitehair out from center. Plenty of talent to choose from at WR, but the 3 chosen pick themselves in my opinion. Going for high upside at TE with Hockenson over some more established and safe, but less exciting, veterans.

DE: Kenny Clark (Packers)
NT: Damon Harrison (Lions)
DE: Akiem Hicks (Bears)

EDGE: Khalil Mack (Bears)
LB: Blake Martinez (Packers)
EDGE: Trey Flowers (Lions)

CB: Kyle Fullers (Bears)
CB: Darius Slay (Lions)
S: Harrison Smith (Vikings)
S: Eddie Jackson (Bears)
S: Adrian Amos (Packers)

So much talent in the front 7's of this division it was really hard to keep out some extremely talented defenders. Interesting to see how others construct their defences for the division. Some very good safeties in this division also, edging out a 3rd CB or a 2nd LB.

K: Matt Prater (Lions)
P: JK Scott (Packers)

Coach: Mike Zimmer
Stadium: Lambeau
Uniform: Vikings

NFC North Dream Team:

Offence:

QB: Aaron Rodgers (Packers)
RB: Kerryon Johnson (Lions)
WR: Davante Adams (Packers)
WR: Kenny Golladay (Lions)
WR: Adam Thielen (Vikings)
TE: Kyle Rudolph (Vikings)

LT: David Bakhtiari (Packers)
LG: Cody Whitehair (Bears)
C: Corey Linsley (Packers)
RG: Frank Ragnow (Lions)
RT: Bryan Bulaga (Packers)

Defence:

DE: Akiem Hicks (Bears)
NT: Damon Harrison (Lions)
DE: Kenny Clark (Packers)

LB: Khalil Mack (Bears)
LB: Roquan Smith (Bears)
LB: Blake Martinez (Packers)
LB: Anthony Barr (Vikings)

CB: Kyle Fullers (Bears)
CB: Darius Slay (Lions)
S: Harrison Smith (Vikings)
S: Eddie Jackson (Bears)

K: Matt Prater (Lions)
P: Pat O'Donnell (Bears)

Coach: Matt Nagy (Bears)
Stadium: Soldier Field (Bears)
Uniform: Lions

WR's and C's of one form or another dominate the offence. Ragnow and Whitehair are moving in opposite directions this year, one to Center, one to Guard but they still fit here. A big Golladay fan so he's in at Diggs' expense. I like Matt Stafford but Rodgers is nigh on untouchable here. No idea what to expect health-wise from half of these RB's so just went with my gut.

As others have said, bags of talent in the division on D (especially the front 7). A formidable front 3. Would prefer a front 4 but the personnel lends itself to a 3-4 imo. Love the ILB's, and went with Barr over Flowers because I see him as a better fit than Flowers. The secondary pretty much picks itself to some extent.

Nagy hasn't got the experience of some other HC's, but he's started off well in his HC career.

Tempted by the Vikings new stadium......if only it looked more like a longboat and less like a tent. Prefer the aesthetics of Soldier Field over Lambeau.

Some great uniforms in this division, and despite being tempted by the Bears classics i'll go for something different with the Lions Honolulu Blue (blame Barry Sanders for that).

DT: Linval Joseph (Minnesota)
DE: Danielle Hunter (Minnesota)

OLB: Anthony Barr (Minnesota)
MLB: Blake Martinez (Green Bay)

K: Matt Prater (Detroit)
P: JK Scott (Green Bay)

Head Coach: Mike Zimmer (Minnesota)

Aaron Rodgers is still the best Quarterback in football in my opinion and the three Wide Receivers I selected would fit perfectly for him. After that, there were no star Running Backs, or if they were any potential ones, they’ve not proven themselves for more than one season. The Green Bay Tackles are excellent, Whitehair made it to the pro bowl last year but after that, this division is very weak on the Offensive line.

Chicago Offensive players: 2
Detroit Offensive players: 0
Green Bay Offensive players: 5
Minnesota Offensive players: 4

Very strong defenses in the NFC North and they all play different schemes, I managed to include all of the players I wanted.

Chicago Defensive players: 3
Detroit Defensive players: 2
Green Bay Defensive players: 1
Minnesota Defensive players: 5

Total Chicago players: 5
Total Detroit players: 3
Total Green Bay players: 7
Total Minnesota players: 9

Mike Zimmer is the top Head Coach in the division at the moment, but Matt Nagy is catching him.
Three of my favourite uniforms are from this division, I'll go with the one which is the most purple.
Despite loving Minnesota's new stadium, Lambeau is a huge historic stadium is an amazing atmosphere, so I can't overlook it.

The ‘B Team’

QB: Kirk Cousins (Minnesota)
RB: Kerryon Johnson (Detroit)
WR: Allen Robinson (Chicago)
WR: Marvin Jones (Detroit)
WR: Kenny Golladay (Detroit)
TE: Trey Burton (Chicago)
LT: Charles Leno (Chicago)
LG: Frank Ragnow (Detroit)
C: James Daniels (Chicago)
RG: Billy Turner (Green Bay)
RT: Rick Wagner (Detroit)

DE: Mike Daniels (Green Bay)
DT: Kenny Clark (Green Bay)
DE: Akiem Hicks (Chicago)

OLB: Trey Flowers (Detroit)
ILB: Danny Trevathan (Chicago)
ILB: Roquan Smith (Chicago)
OLB: Everson Griffen (Minnesota)

CB: Jaire Alexander (Green Bay)
CB: Prince Amukamura (Chicago)
FS: Anthony Harris (Minnesota)
SS: Adrian Amos (Green Bay)

K: Mason Crosby (Green Bay)
P: Sam Martin (Detroit)

Head Coach: Matt Nagy (Chicago)
Uniform: Green Bay Packers
U.S. Bank Stadium (Minnesota)

B Team Chicago players: 8
B Team Detroit players: 7
B Team Green Bay players: 6

Total A & B Team Chicago players: 13
Total A & B Team Detroit players: 10
Total A & B Team Green Bay players: 13

Points of interest: Cohen may not be an every down back but you'd have to account for him every play and he's certainly the biggest threat in the division at that position. Rest of the offense is pretty clear I think.

Fantastic front 7 and the presence of a do it all weapon like Mack at OLB persuaded me to go for a 3-4 and abandon the nickel here. Hicks gets overshadowed by Mack but is also one of the best defensive players in the league, when you've got 2 guys who normally need doubling it's no wonder they're as good as they are on defence. Corners are good too, had Rhodes as the best corner in the game this time last year and he didn't quite make it. Came in thinking this wasn't a strong division and came out thinking that at least on D it might be the very best.

Time for the NFC South.

I have two Running Backs and three Wide Receivers in mind, but we need to pick a Tight End, so one of them will miss out.

Given the news, it looks like time will run out on this little project Martz.

Thanks for coming up with idea and keeping things moving along around here. It was a good little off season exercise.
