Might as well make this the official administrative leave thread. Maryland's HC DJ Durkin placed on it now after reports into the "toxic culture" at the school which has been under the microscope after Jordan McNair's death

Yeah, the BigTen not covering itself in glory recently. You would have thought it more likely to happen in the SEC or Big12. It's not like Marylands' fan base is as demanding of success.

I wonder if that treatment of the players meant they were more prone to injuries, and hence their QB injury situation last season.

Unlike Urbs, everyone seems to think DJ is gonna be gone.

Ohio State have suspended Meyer for their first 3 games.

I knew he wasn't going to get fired by how long they dragged out the "decision" discussion yesterday.

Yeah it's more or less what I expected.

I haven't read the investigation report, but reading the articles and what others have said about some of the findings in the report, seems there's even more suspicious behavior by Meyer. Like after the story that Brett McMurphy broke, Meyer and a person on the staff (asst. AD or something?) discussed how to change the setting on Meyers phone to delete messages older than one year!

Can you imagine the outrage from B1G fans if this was an SEC school that handed out such a weak punishment?
