Default The uniforms thread

I am sure I am not the only one who takes an interest in the uniform match-ups when the teams take the field. I thought we could have a thread on which to discuss uniforms, whether that is styles, colours, jersey/pant combinations, or whether you like/hate new designs or colour rush uniforms, or what you think of certain teams going for white at home during the warm weather.

Rather than nick someone else's work I will post a link here to another forum where they have rather nicely put together what they think/know are the uniform match-ups for week 3.

As you can see, the Jags are sticking to the Wembley tradition of black at home despite it being a September game where back in Jacksonville at this time of year they would still wear white.

Rams look to be going all yellow and the Niners all black for Thursday's colour rush.

Only the Panthers and Chargers have chosen to wear whites at home for the warm weather this week. The Titans have often continued wearing white at home throughout September in the past but after doing so in week 1 at home to the Raiders they have gone back to navy this week against the Seahawks. The Eagles have also often worn white for a home opener but after 2 road games to start the season they are going straight to green for the visit of the Giants.

The Bears are wearing their throwbacks with the orange numbers at home to the Steelers. That is a pretty cool uniform matchup!

I'm very interested in uniforms and their histories in lots of sports and was thinking of starting a Uni thread for a while....so top job EB.

Good to see Philly going to green, their white uniforms boast little green in them, a colour that make the Eagles the Eagles

Wished they'd go back to Kelly Green for a long while now rather than the murky dark green and black they use now. Their current uniforms are one of the worst in the league

Miami have worn white at home from Sept-Nov most years. The only departure really the throwbacks or nationally televised games when the orange jersey used to get an airing. It is supposed to make a legitimate difference.

As long as the Bills don't go Blue / Blue I'm happy.

A little off topic and my fault for not really paying attention, but I bought my 1st jersey in the off season, a #13 Thomas in black.

The collar is the same since Nike took over but I noticed that this year they have changed to a more pleasing look

I know fanatics obviously wanted to shift redundant stock, but still annoying!

For the Saints I like white Jersey and black pants, mainly due I suppose , to the super bowl combo.

I like the Saints white jersey plus gold pants look the best, I think. White jersey, black pants is OK, but I'm really not a fan of the black on black combo - same for the Bengals.

What do you think of the Saints ditching the white at home for the first half of the season now? They used to do it but this year it's black all season. I guess in a dome there is no real advantage but it's a throwback to their days outdoors in the hot Louisiana autumn sun.

Here is a trivia question: only one NFL team has never worn white at home. Which is it? No Googling!

My guess would be Raiders, given Al's affinity to Black

I don't like the all black pants, same with Ravens. Looks like spandex leggings
