Really? You rate Cam Newton's arm? He doesn't throw deep balls and his accuracy is poor. I wouldn't swap Dak for that.

his not Rodgers but its not bad, he was doing fine this season until he got hurt and has a league MVP and in general lacks and has lacked good receivers, Dak is miles away from him.

Went into Pittsburgh, Seattle, Denver, Baltimore, Cleveland and Kansas and won all of them. New England is going to be tough no doubt, and we're rightly favourites to lose; but the Chargers are soft and weak? Nah mate.

We just we prevent defence at the end to bleed the clock and close out the game. We just beat the best defence in the NFL on the road, and held a running attack that has been gashing the league for the past 2 months to loose change with pretty much all our first choice linebackers injured. If that's soft and weak I'll take it.

The offence is a concern right now as the running game has stalled since Gordon has been banged up but against Baltimore scoring 23 points isn't exactly terrible.

PS All hail Money Badger

As you say, a healthy Gordon is key. As much as Rivers (and your OC) can produce chunk passing plays, Gordon brings a balance and a threat that you can't replace.

Those injuries at LB might have been a blessing in disguise, against the Ravens attack anyway. That extra speed certainly helped.

The problem I find with Prevent D is whilst you don't give up BIG plays (although sometimes teams do) you do give up multiple 15-20 yard plays. It does take some time off the clock, which if you're leading by 2+ scores is good, but with hurry up teams can be in the Redzone in under a minute. As hard as onside kicks are to recover, that's all it takes and it's a hail Mary for the win. Of course, you could play standard or aggressive D and give up points.

The Chargers should definitely give the Pats a game, especially with Ingram, Bosa and James disrupting Brady. If the Chargers O line can hold their own it'll get real interesting that's for sure.

imagine teams still think the prevent takes away any big plays/quick scores but teams run there 2 minute/no huddle stuff so well these days why not just stick with the defensive scheme that has been working.

also think the Ravens spent all week on taking away the run so probably haven't seen much of Jackson just throwing the ball that much.

looks like it could be a possible snow game on sunday with -3 predicted at game time.

the Chargers pass rush did cause us massive headache's in last years match up and they shut down the running game.

one thing in New Englands favour is the record we have against that Seattle defensive scheme and getting the Ball to RB's in the passing game(Vereen vs Seahawks/White vs Falcons) so maybe dink and dunk time for Brady.

also hoping the rest has given us one last chance to see a healthy Gronk, not been anywhere close to his best this season but we just need 3 big games then he can retire or get traded to Cleveland......
