Default New for 2017 at the Twickenham Tailgate!

Touching down at Twickenham Stadium for the first time last year, we’re excited to return to the legendary ground this month.

Listening to our fans’ feedback from 2016, we’ve been busy re-imagining our Twickenham gameday to bring to you a bigger and better NFL experience for 2017:

Extended Tailgate with 2 additional zones!

Our 2016 Tailgate was limited to the west car park. This year, we’ve transformed the space into our West Tailgate and have created our NEW East and Inner Tailgates to bring to you the ultimate gameday experience across 3 zones of extraordinary fan fun!

Top tip:visit East Tailgate FIRST. Stretching the length of Rugby Road and featuring inflatable NFL games, our Vince Lombardi trophy, cheerleader performances, roaming live music, NFL Shop, American-style food outlets plus much more, kick off your gameday here before entering the Inner or West Tailgates.

New clear bag policy for all 2017 London Games
To help provide a safer environment for our fans, we’ve implemented a strict bag policy for all 2017 NFL London Games that is being 100% enforced. Visit nfluk.com/bag-policy for more information and ensure you comply with our new policy. Official NFL safety-approved bags can be purchased online prior to gameday here.

Greater choice of gameday food
When it comes to food, the more choice the better! Our East and West Tailgates feature a whole host of tasty American-style food outlets for you to tuck in to. What’s more, we’ll be re-opening West Tailgate at the beginning of the 2nd quarter so you’ll have more choice throughout the game (please note: you can return to your seat from West Tailgate during the game).

Dedicated transportation services to help you get home
After a long day of excitement, we understand that you want to get back home with ease. Last year, our free shuttle buses to London Waterloo were so popular, we have doubled the number of buses for 2017 that will be departing from Chertsey Road. Whilst you’re there, ask one of our dedicated transport ambassadors what time the last trains and underground services are – they’re there to help you have a smooth journey home.

Post-game entertainment in West Tailgate
Want to avoid the crowds? Head to West Tailgate which will remain open for 90 minutes post-game. Serving food and drink and showing NFL RedZone on our large screens, you can continue the gameday celebrations after the final whistle.

Make a weekend of it with NFL UK Live
Get closer to the Twickenham action with our special series of 2017 London Games NFL UK Live series, presented by Subway. Is the tailgate zone next to the stadium open to everyone or just the ticket holders?

Last year there were searching stations just before the tailgate area....i can't remember if we had to show tickets at that point, but I seem to think we did.

You did need tickets last year. I had to pass some through a gate for my parents to get in!

By stating the West Tailgate will reopen at the start of the 2nd quarter, I assume this means it is going to close some time before kick off?

This was one of my biggest gripes of the Wembley Tailgate last year and a big reason I didn't renew my season ticket. Arriving at around 11.45 for 2pm/2.30pm kick off (?), we found all the food outlets were being closed before midday, which seemed an utter joke.

I have a pair of tickets for the Cards-Rams game.
Want to attend the tail-gate with my three kids even though i only have 2 tickets. It does not explicitly state numbers so hoping I can get in and they can enjoy.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this in previous tailgates without getting pulled up.

Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to. Tickets are checked at the security station on the entrance to the tailgate.
