I think the only 4 wheeled motor sport worth watching at the moment is the BTCC. Its certainly the only one i've been enjoying.

trying to steal the race was a laughable line, he clearly was in the wrong and the i didnt see him was also a funny lie.

think so far out of all the ex-pro's who know only Rosberg has come out in support of the penalty with all the rest just saying its racing and Button pointing out that Vettle was just a passenger trying to save the slide.

Hamilton did the same thing in Monaco in 2016 against Richardo when he cut the chicane then cut right across to reclaim the racing line forcing the Redbull to brake hard but on that occasion it was just a racing incident.

also this grand prix used to be one with plenty of action and over taking but yesterdays was pretty awful and sadly needed the stewards to get involved to even make it news worthy.

tbh i dont recall the other incident (or any rule changes since) but Vettel didnt rejoin in a safe way, he didnt leave a cars width and he knew what he was doing.

think it easy to say Vettle rejoined the track in an unsafe way but as he said what else could he do with the speed he was going and the danger he was in,he was fighting to regain control of a car going over grass so if he had broken hard that car is really going to be out of control.

its not going to make much difference long term as Mercedes/Hamilton have the title sewn up already.
