Default 2018 London Games

Go on then- we're probably 2 months or so away from the games being announced (though they may give us a sneaky announcement of one like they did last year).

Please allow me to be the one to start the wild conjecture and list of dead certs that never come to being, anyone head anything on who's coming next year please?? Ta!

Well the Falcons owe the NFL one since they host the Super Bowl soon. The Dolphins jumped them in the queue because Atlanta didn't want to have to give up a game in the new season's first year, understandably. Won't necessarily be next year though that they give up their game.

Tampa Bay also owes the NFL one for the same reason, ditto may not be next year, or both could be.

Rams and Raiders seem certain to give up a game next season pending new stadiums. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chargers do the same given how it's gone so far this year in the temporary venue, though some Chargers fans on here disagree.

Of course, there may be games played outside the US and not in London. Raiders have gone to Mexico two years running now.

I think we can safely say that there is no way that approximately half the league gives up a home game.

Falcons would probably attempt to tap into the Mexican slice of the pie before coming back here I would have thought. Though playing against a team like Cincinnati or Baltimore (just because Harbaugh likes to make excuses for a poor display) would be more likely than giving up a Giants or Cowboys game (see prices for the game this year, expensive!).

One higher up in the organisation was very complimentary about the facilities that Spurs are accomplishing, with Atlanta United having ties.

Mexico certainly seemed to be popular last year in terms of logistics - obviously much closer to the US and on the central timezone. It also means the NFL can play the game on any US timeslot whereas here it's either the 1pm eastern Sunday slot or earlier.

Plus with the MLS team doing so well, maybe they want to tap into that potential? Lots of Latin support when I attended one of their games.

Possible 5 games next year?
Pats at white Hart lane so they can use link between Harry kane who is very big nfl fan .
Jags at Wembley of course poss against texans or titans .
Charges so they can get a crowd ! And try for new uk fans.
Falcons home game .
Broncos possible wishful thinking on my part though.

Who ever it is will be there , even if 5 hour drive each way !.

I think it will be 4 again next year, with the Spurs stadium not completed yet, I think they play safe with 4. maybe an increase the following year if at all. as for who comes over, as others have stated there are a few potential candidates, I'm more intrigued as to who the Road team will be. Regardless of the matchups my season ticket is getting renewed and i'll share the matches out to my pals, nit picking the ones I fancy.

Hoping the Jets might be one, with Woody Johnson being based over here and all. Read one of the NY beat writers the other week saying he had heard the Jets were being considered for a game.

I realise anybody who isn't a Jet's fan disagrees wholeheartedly with my hopes mind.....

Given they won 3 in a row in London and hammered the Ravens last time I can't see anyone wanting to give up a home game to the Jags if they are already playing another game here as well. They know how to do the London games, have a largeish fanbase here now. And will have an advantage if they are here beforehand too. And if they play their 'away' game first nobody will be happy about having to play them in their 'home' game if they've been in town for over a week.... So I don't see it. I mean Kirkwood said that one team kicked off about unfair advantages after learning that their opponents would touch down at Heathrow 30mins before they would!
