its all going to be about money, even maybe the NFL pushing money towards the 49ers to let the Raiders play in there neighbour hood for a season.

i just hope we stay away from him, he only seems to workout in Philly.
if they do tag him it puts his 2019 salary up to $25m which then

puts the Eagles $20m over the cap

pushes up his contract demands elsewhere

makes other teams out there wonder if they can just wait out the process as the Eagles surely cant keep him and be under the cap by early March so why give up any high draft picks

it would be odd if they dont though, as leaving him alone would of netted them a comp pick and they must of known it was likely he would void his deal.

the Eagles are hoping that someone out there will want Fole's so much and would give them a draft pick to get him rather than risk a FA scramble but if Fole's want to control the process he should just sign the tender then let it be known he wants Cousins money long term and not Keenum numbers.

About time they had someone opposite Peterson. If they can start forcing people to throw a few more towards him, that would be good news.

reports that Kam Chancellor had $5.8m of his 2019 $10m base salary fully guaranteed yesterday even though it looks like he will never play another NFL snap due to his neck injury that also caused him to miss the whole of last season.
