Griffin to Oklahoma would have the makings of a dynasty made almost entirely through the draft.
Durant, Westbrook, Gordon and Griffin over the next 10-15 years would have the potential to be dominant.

Its a fairly complex situation where as the bottom 15 teams
(the teams that did not make the playoffs) go into the lottery,
It works the same as the NFL in that the worst team is rewarded
the most although rather than gettng a concrete pick they are given
more chance of it on the lottery.
The lottery is very complicated where 14 balls go into the machine
and are drawn where there are 1001 possible combinations,
This is where your record comes in, the team with the worst record
this year thats Sacremento gets 250 combinations giving them roughly
a 25% chance of landing the 1st pick where as Phoneix the 15th worst
team (the best record outside of the playoff teams) has roughly a 1%
chance of landing the 1st pick, The system works the same for all 15 picks
so even if Sacremento dont get the 1st they have a superb chance of a top
3-4 pick.

Used to watch NBA years ago and followed the Celtics but lost interest as it got to litigius with the rules imo. .however a guy I work with still follows it and so although I no longer follow it properly I do still have the soft spot for the Celtics. .I knwo I know they are from *spits* Boston. .but I liked the Green. .ok it was as simple as that. .lol

Shame they are out this year after winning it all last year. My mate at work likes the Lakers. .

They'll take Griffin. They've even admitted that much. And Griffin is only gonna have one workout before the draft (with LAC, of course). That pick is set in stone.

What they should do is move Zach... but I don't think there's a market for him out there. Kaman is a lot more tradable.

In any case, LAC looks really good right now:

Baron / Mike Taylor
Eric Gordon / Mardy Collins / Ricky Davis
Al Thornton / ???
Griffin / Zach Randolph
Camby / Kaman / Jordan

That's a playoff team. Even more, if Baron is happy and committed (big if), that's a team good enough to have a deep run in the playoffs. Although I still do believe they have to replace Mike Dunleavy to be competitive

Game one of the Eastern Conference Finals tonight. First time in the conference finals since 1996 for the Magic. I remember that sweep vs the Bulls very well from 1996. Damn that Michael Jordan for giving up on baseball and returning to the NBA!
