Have to wait until tomorrow for the Lonzo Ball era to get underway. On a Lakers related note, enjoyed ESPN's 30 for 30 three part series on the Lakers-Celtics rivalry on BT Sport earlier this week.
Hopefully we can get back to not sucking this season...

Hope so too, think we have a realistic chance of 35 wins, maybe 40 but will miss out on the playoffs...and then cue the hype for next summer in trying to land LeBron and one of the other big free agents.

Lavar already said it's a done deal that the Lakers will be in the playoffs, I trust his comments he seems level-headed.

No it was a nasty injury, really back luck for him. Apart that it was a very enjoyable opening night.

As usual I have no expectations for the Knicks this season, although it will be interesting to see how Melo’s departure affects our play. The triangle offense isn’t going away and Melo was never a good fit for it. Interestingly we open up against OKC on Friday!

Anyone manage to get tickets for London game?

I was queuing well before nine and when I got through all the seats were sold out even though it hadn't said!

Feels like a con job. Suspect plenty were snapped up by sister sites of the ticket site.

Lonzo with three points on his debut. I feel bad for the kid with the pressure put on him by his jerk of a father.

Me too, his father’s painted a huge target on his back. I think Patrick Beverley gave him a taste of what’s coming his way this season.

OKC looked really good last night, I know the Knicks suck but I think they could be legitimate contenders in the West this season.

It made me angry ESPN had an article the other day called "Lonzo and his beefs", He's a nice kid he has none they're Lavar's beefs

Over the Spurs? The stat line that stood out to me was Westbrook only having 12 attempted shots. Big difference from last year where he flourished in a one man show type of role. He still got his triple double though!

Yep and I would probably put Houston above the Spurs as well
