I know it's the same team that won 3-0 at the Nou Camp, but Messi, Suarez, Rakitic, Vidal, Busquets, Pique, Alba, all north of 30 now. Are the likes of Coutinho, Dembele, Arthur, Malcolm, etc, ready to pick up any slack?

All credit to Klopp. He is the best motivator in the game and backed his XI to win the game. No plans to contain Messi, just make 8 man wave after wave of attack and hope Matip, VVD & Allison can keep them out the other end
hard to say Barca froze after going 1-0 down early it took till the 2nd half for the 2nd and they had a fair few chances just Allison kept them at bay.

when will teams learn you cant go to Anfield and expect to pass the ball around from the back and not end up turning the ball over high in your own half and allowing Liverpool easy chances.

guessing in the Spanish league teams very rarely make Barca defend that much and put decent balls in the box to take advantage of there lack of real defensive quality and the defending for the 4th goal was just shocking.

just need spurs to start with the same desire tonight and get our 1 goal win.

think Barca are going to need some much better players than the ones listed if they want to dominate Europe again, will be hard for them to get there money back on Coutinho and Dembele seems injury prone.

Barcelona were always going to get chances, given that Liverpool were chasing 3 goals from the start & playing what was essentially 2-3-2-3 formation. Even then it required Messi to be involved in every opportunity they created

Barcelona players were dead in the eyes from the moment of Jordi Alba's error onwards.

The procession that is La Liga can't prepare them for teams that attack them from the off - PSG did it (before capitulating themselves) & then Roma

This isn't a one-off. They are a side devoid of fight and of legs.

Coutinho is great to have when coasting 3-0 against a team in the bottom half.
Dembele is talented but lightweight & widespread stories of a poor attitude

Barcelona are in big trouble in comparison to the top tier teams. They have an aging side, & don't have the deep pockets of a nation state or Billionaire owner to bail them out and the plans to upgrade the Nou Camp won't be cheap.

The signing of Kevin Prince-Boateng in the transfer window said a lot about where they are. As you say they need money back from the failed players they invested heavily in

Would be great to have an all-PL final, but can’t see it happening...

I thought Spurs were finished earlier in the week, but I'm less convinced now.

I hope Ajax win the whole thing, but this is probably the first time they've been billed as favourites in a tie in this seasons competition. How will they cope with that?

sure the rest of Europe would enjoy an all English CL/EL finals and its loking like atleast 3 will be there.

with Spurs we are playing a much stronger looking team today with some genuine pace up front and going to to stupidly predict Alli might even turn up tonight and remind us he used to be one of the best young players around.

Better away team than home in the competition. They are a young team who have a lot go for them so far, in the main due to how well they have played. If the tie is in the balance in the last 20 minutes I'd fancy Spurs

....but then again, Spurs have been shocking the last couple of months

Will be the first non La Liga winner since 2013

Both European finals could be all PL affairs.
