well they will still have just the FIFA/PL/FA investigations left to settle.seems FIFA will push for a 1 year transfer ban like the current Chelsea one so they will have to get there spending spree done before they lose there possible £70m+ of there books for missing a CL campaign.

seems any CL ban would more likely be 2020-21with the appeals process.

It's a bit farcical that clubs facing the 'punishment' of a transfer ban can just get their shopping done early. In a weird way it strengthens them, but they obviously have to balance the books down the line. I wouldn't mind, but the teams are being punished for spending too much in the first place, so they've already added quality players to their squad.

the problem is that it takes FIFA way to long to get these investigations done and the teams know if they have broken the rules so no a guilty verdict is coming so can get ahead.

also wonder why its the football leak people who are finding most of these incidents and not domestic leagues or UEFA.

I see Utd are playing Bayern today in a 'Legends' game to celebrate their '99 Treble.

WHY ON EARTH HAVE BAYERN AGREED TO THAT?! Not sure what the rest of their team looks like but apparently Matthaus, Stefan Effenberg, Ivica Olic and Ze Roberto are amongst the Bayern line up.

Bayern should've laughed at the very suggestion of this game. 'Celebrating' a defeat. Ha.

(unless it's raising money for charity, then i'll give them a pass. Still, bit of a slap in the face for Bayern)
