Been a targt for a while, but will Wengers joy at getting him be shared with the fans?
Exciting one for the future, hopefully he shows more than the odd flashes Arsenal get out of Walcott http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14448089.stm

Can't agree that it would be "better for football" for anyone to win the league, if you want to win it then earn it! Arsenal are in a way the opposite of Fergie, Wenger is so blinded by his thesis on pretty football that he refuses to change for games and continues to get beaten time and time again in big games by getting caught on the break.
I guess when im talking better for football im talking about England firstly and then English teams in Europe etc. For me if we are ever going to have success on a national level we need someone to stamp their brand on our game and dominate like a Barca/Real/Bayern/Ajax etc and IMO for far to long clubs within the prem have failed this on so many levels despite having the funds to really impose dominance on Europe etc.

The sad statement about the Prem is Arsenal and the fact that if we had a European league instead of national leagues they probably would have had most success of all UK teams because of the style they adapt

If they slowly bring him into the team like they did with Ramsey/Wilshere he's definitely going to be a very good player in the future as well as a regular England international like Wilshere has become.

£12M + £3M in terms of add ons. That's a heck of a lot for a player that hasn't even played a minute of Championship football.

Good. 7 in now, theres a maximum of 12. If it gets to its limit and more people want to join i'll create another league (like a first division) and make it a promotion/relegation system.

I'm chuffed with the signing. Well all is said and done Oxlade Chamberlain is a huge talent plus a big fan of Arsenal and Wenger. Great signing.

Hopefully just the start of a busy week for us.

On the Walcott comparisons, according to Southampton there isn't one, Chamberlain is far superior to the level of Theo at that age.

lol arsenal in young slightly built tippy-tappy player sign up. Heard david dein on the radio say wengers philosophy is to buy youngsters on the cheap and grow them and people should respect that-yes doesnt mean you charge your customers "on the cheap" though does it david? Highest ticket prices in WORLD football yet arsenal still play the plucky pauper act, comical.

Yep. As a Saints fan I'm obviously disappointed he's left. I also feel he made the same mistake that Walcott did and left a season too early.
