Is Josie angling for an exit from Chelsea?

Dragging the club through the gutter with the petulant doctor rant,
then taking off Mr Chelsea in stead of the other slow centre back who'd
had his hooter squashed for the 3rd time in as many weeks.

I get the need for pace at the back as he had to allow his fullbacks
to cross the half way line, but keeping on a battered Cahill just looks like
he was trying to create more diverting headlines.

Would they put up with his tantrums in Munich if Guadiola leaves this year? I'm sure
he's trying his best to move on and not sure abrahamovich will worry about tossing
15 million of his ill gotten gains away, or what ever that new contract is worth.

Jose never stays any longer than 3 years at any club, but the long term contract he's just signed suggests he and the club are happy enough with each other.

I don't think he stays.

His mystique is part of his act.

I think if he doesn't win the league this year he will be out. I think he will walk not pushed mind you... wont be for footballing reasons though obviously....

Chelsea spent a fortune buying AVB out of his contract to come manage them a few years back then sacked him within a few months so money is not always the key.
Jose seems to always be fighting with the people who are in charge of the buying at chelsea and maybe this year they are trying to push him to use the great youth system rather than just go on another big spending spree.
The last time he left chelsea was it not about his off field battles with Frank Arnesen who was bought in to bring in young talent but jose always found an excuse to not play them.

tbh it seemed more like he wanted out because the tide had turned.

Obviously with a wallet as big as Abramovich's but its a big difference between AVB & Jose

Abramovich spent 6 years trying and however many managers trying to replace him, and still went back cap in hand to Jose and then gives him another massive contract extension.

2 bad games.....
Mourinho is going nowhere

Jose doesn't win league he is gone.

I think he has to succeed in Europe to be honest. That was all Roman ever wanted.

Jose never brought the success that Roman wanted but Roman thought he had the key. He doesn't. Premier league is is excellent though

Jose leaves clubs because of power struggles,he has the Bill Parcells thing about wanting to be GM and coach.Chelsea under Roman have invested huge amounts in youth developement over the past few years but with Jose there is always a reason why they are not good enough to even be given a real chance in meaningfull games so they just go of on loan or get sold on,suppose over the next 18 months we will see who wins out.

Not so much Jose's stubbornness, as Abramovich's work around for abiding by Financial fair play.

I think Abramovich has learnt the hard way that a revolving door policy on Coaches/Managers does not help establish the expansive footballing Empire he craves

Perhaps he felt with 100's of millions of pounds to build a team anyone could do what Jose did first time around and in addition be a person that was easier to work with. But apart from the unlucky Ancelotti, that was found not to be the case and so Mourinho was tempted back to the Bridge.

Mourinho is head and shoulders above the rest in the PL in terms of abilities as a Coach and game manager and it isn't even close. Just a shame he's prone to ridiculous statements which the media lap up
