Round 4 up, I stopped working out trades.

Sometimes i can see a real position of need for a team, but the next 20 players on my board are different positions so I value the best player available. Probably need to trade up to get who you really want and that is a headache for the real GMs.

Going to try and rest for a couple of hours now, I'll have to finish all of this tomorrow.

Not a fan of the Cowboys double dipping at DT (Omenihu and Willis). Nor Dax Raymond being added to an already crowded TE group (Witten, Jarwin, Schultz). One of those 4th rounders needs to be a RB (Trayveon Williams? Justice Hill?).

Jalen Hurd at 166 could be seen as a quasi-WR/RB pick. Local too so I could see that pick if he lasts that long. In this case though, with Tavai (LB) and Edwards (S) on the board i'd expect them to go in that direction instead.

Round 6 and 7 are up.

Quite rushed in the end, I need to start this a lot sooner if I do it again next year and need to keep a better track of which position each team has already drafted.

Already noticing a few errors, I wanted Vikings to double dip into the O-Line, but I ended up getting three offensive linemen there, oops.

58. Dallas Cowboys - Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State
90. Dallas Cowboys - Charles Omenihu, IDL, Texas A&M
128. Dallas Cowboys - Gerald Willis, IDL, Miami
136. Dallas Cowboys - Dax Raymond, TE, Utah State
165. Dallas Cowboys - Jalen Hurd, WR, Baylor
241. Dallas Cowboys - Derrek Thomas, CB, Baylor

Obviously it can't play out like this now, but I hope the Cowboys come away with more. Seeing as Abram has gone, getting Rapp or Adderley at 58 instead would be great. As for the rest, as much as i'd want them to add a DT not a TE, i'd be more excited about one of the TE's or RB's who were available at 90 and waiting on a DT at 136 or later instead.

Great effort Martz, no doubt you've learned a lot along the way.

I’d be pretty depressed with that Jets’ Draft, so it’ll probably happen...

Catching up on a few posts...

I just checked and he went 234th!

I really didn't rate either Sweat or Gary. I thought Ferrell and Burns were much better, but I bridged the gap between what I thought and what the experts thought.

At least both players dropped, albeit it not as far as I mocked.

I made a few errors with the Dallas picks to be honest. I don't remember thinking that I would double dip on IDL for the Cowboys, so that would have been an error. No Tight Ends went between the 128 pick and Dallas 136 pick where Dax Raymond was selected, so it would have been Josh Oliver at 90 if I re-did this to get a Tight End sooner. I didn't even think about getting a Running Back, but looking at the current roster, there wasn't a good backup for Elliott, so I can see the need there. I did learn a lot! and despite how wrong I was on many picks, I'll do it again next year, but start watching more tape as soon as the Superbowl is over.

I actually got Quinnen Williams at 3 correct.
Chum Edoga in the third round correct.
Bobby Evans and Trysten Hill ended up going a round or two earlier.

Couldn't be that bad!?
