River fans are trying to tear down the barrior to the ground now

What a surprise

Talk about sore losers...go down to the 2nd tier.... you will get used to it soon enough with your crapy ass team that has some sense of delusions of grandeur......

River Plate, the record 33 times Argentinian league champions, suffered relegation to the second division for the first time in their 110-year history on Sunday.

River drew 1-1 with Belgrano of the Nacional B division in the second leg of a relegation-promotion playoff at the Monumental stadium in Buenos Aires, condemning them to relegation after a 2-0 defeat in the first leg in Cordoba on Wednesday.

Fans in the 60,000-plus crowd at the Monumental went wild with rage, throwing objects on to the pitch and some tried to climb over perimeter fencing to storm on to the field.
Players from both sides were forced to leave the pitch under protection of the stewards while police used high power hoses against the rioting fans.

River were awarded a penalty midway through the second half which Pavone shot to Olave's right but the goalkeeper saved, leaving River still needing two goals to save their top-flight status. The referee did not add stoppage time as the rioting had already started.

What a great game between Ivory Coast and Brazil yesterday..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xC-G6...layer_embedded

Who on earth is this new striker from IC? He looks exceptional.
Coulibaly, a name to watch for in the future
8 goals in 3 games now.
First goal was great, but his overhead was outrageous

Adryan once again looked the business, good goal by Piazon as well.

The ability of the kids from these 2 nations at such a young age makes you feel really depressed when you see England struggling to a 2-2 draw with Canada.

Not quite sure how they thought rioting was going to help? Its concerning how often this is happening across world sport now....see the Canucks fans after Game 7 in Vancouver!
This atmosphere of win at all costs is producing generations of people who are unable to handle losing.....it those people are supposed to be River Plate fans, how do they think attacking their own players and wrecking the stadium is going to be any help to the team at all going forward.
Complete idiots!
