Ireland up 1-0 at HT, Game on again, This one could end up going to Pens !!

Hiddink's Russia 45 minutes from going out on away goals to Slovenia.
Portugal 45 minutes from scraping through against Bosnia.

Greece upset Ukraine to go through earlier.( Hopefully they wont bore everyone too much next summer)

Algeria are there again as well (Hoping they dont draw the Germans in the group again, no doubt)

Uruguay should go through later, up 1-0 to Costa Rica, and hosting the 2nd leg.

And that will make 32.

I hope france go through but they just dont look like a team who wants to win. They have been very sloppy whereas Ireland look very up for it. At the minute i dont see who would score a goal for france so it looks all in irelands hands unless the french sort themselves out for the second half.

Portugal have an away goal in Bosnia, which means Bosnia must score 3 now.

A real shame, because Bosnia hit the woodwork 3 times in Lisbon on Saturday. And are a very exciting young team to watch.

Alas for them, it looks like they wont be seen on a big stage till Euro 2012.

wow i definitely thought russia would go through. its a shame because they looked like a great side and a real dark horse for the world cup. ireland - france could still go either way.

Russia out on Away goals.

Hiddink can plan his Premiership jaunt now.
Portugal though as well.

Now its just Ireland/France and Uruguay/Costa Rica

Luck of the Irish, many refs would have given that as a penalty.
