Could the Bucs do the unthinkable this weekend and win 3 in a row? I am not even going to call this one all I will say is GO BUCS!

Falcons need a win to end the winning season hoodoo.

I actually think the Bucs might sneak it...

We're stopping the run well and I think we can score enough points on offense to keep this one comfortable.

I felt 9-7 was realistic heading into the year. Weirdly we're probably a better team than a year ago, but injuries and a tougher schedule have hurt our record. Defense has definitely improved.

I'd agree with that. Last year there were no major injuries or losing streaks and I think we're stronger for it. Our defence has improved down the stretch and to those who say its because we're playing inexperienced QBs (Sanchez and Brohm) well consider some of the receivers we've gone against who are no slouches (Braylon Edwards, T.O and Lee Evans)

On one of the Falcons message boards theres a guy who has correctly predicted the results of all 15 games so far this season and he has us down for a win Sunday.

I'm hoping we can win this just to get the back to back winning seasons and get that monkey off our back.

Currently the Bucs are picking 4th and have a good shot at Gerald McCoy and thus filling our huge need at DT, but the last 2 weeks have shown we're destined to be picking lower. A win puts us at #6, completely oblitarating any talk of Suh and most likely also McCoy.

The crybabies say there is nothing to gain by winning for the Bucs?

I hate the Falcons more than any other NFC South team so we really can't allow them the satisfaction of beating us at RayJay.
Bucs winning would also deny ATL a winning record, plus put our Rookie QB at a quite respectable 4-5 as a starter. (In 3 of those 5 so far we've been a hair away from winning) Which had only the case once in our first 7 before Freeman toock over.

A 4 game losing streak to end the season last year not only made us narrowly miss the play-offs, also but resulted in Gruden getting canned and got us on our way to to lose 11 straight to put us at 0-7.
A 3 game winning streak to end 09 would cement Morris' position and might well get us on the road to 7-0 in 2010. ;-)

Lets go whoop those falcons

I just remembered how the other game this season ended. That was a painfully close loss. Stopping you several times on the goalline with our 4th corner in, against Redman. Then with the penalties. I had repressed the memory of that loss. Payback time

I'm feeling quite confident about this one, we have momentum for the first time in a while and I think they'll be playing hard to finish the season with 3 wins.
