There probably won't be a first game, imo.

So pretending it does go ahead which washed out players do we want to see in the league. I'm hoping for Vernon Adams or Darron Thomas and Lamicheal James (if the no criminal record thing is gone) hooking back up

The NFL should pull its finger out and get a Developmental Spring League going based in secondary markets

It would blow McMahon's pipe dream out of the water before it could even begin

Yes I always wondered why they didn't just do what MLB does - stick teams in small markets, owned if you like by the NFL franchises themselves. I have to say I don't know much about MLB let along minor league baseball but presumably those smaller feeder teams either get enough fan turnout to sustain them or else they survive without needing fan turnout.

I too wouldn't be surprised if the XFL never gets as far as a first game but let's see. The track record of pro football that isn't the NFL is pretty poor, whether that's XFL or anything else.

No gimmicks? I guess that rules out Tim Tebow throwing a pick six to Ronda Rousey.

No chance Tebow's going to be the pride of the Mets by 2020, so won't be able to play in a spring/summer league
