Default NFL Redzone or Full Game?

Just wanted to get everyone's perspective on this, which do you prefer?

Order of preference depending on schedules
1) Giants game
2) best/good matchup of 2 teams (non-sky game)
3) a mates teams game if they are playing someone interesting (div game/contender)
4) div rivals game (especially if 2 are playing each other)
5) redzone

1) Giants game
2) a mates teams game if they are playing someone interesting (div game/contender)
3) Redzone - catch up on the early action and stay abreast of the later window. Best game is already covered by Sky leaving some less appealing game(s) with West div teams that i dont have a great interest in.

redzone. always. mostly. apart from when detroit are playing. but redzone will always be on the TV or laptop either way.

in the immortal words of scott hanson:
"seven hours of commercial-free football start now"

Generally Redzone, however like most others if its a game I want to see its over to Sky. well tonight it is Sky as I have converted someone over to the sport but sadly he has gone for the 49ers.

So better watch it as I feel questions in the morning.

I also watch RedZone during the Regular Season via Xbox On on the TV and when the Lions play in a 1pm or 4pm ET slot, that game is running on my tablet.

Aye I watch red zone if the Bears game isn't being shown, though I find you're trying to take so much in that you end up missing loads.

In the past it was always a full game rather than redzone, but that was mainly out of principle rather than comparing the two options and working out which I prefer.

Now, if the Patriots aren't on, I always go with Redzone.

I still prefer a full game, but only if it's the Patriots.
I really love Redzone, particularly at 9pm onwards when there is only 3 or 4 games on.
At 6pm there is a bit too much going on that you don't really see anything other than a highlight reel.

My ideal situation is what happened last night.
Patriots on at 6pm so watch the full game and then switch to Redzone for the later 3 or 4 games.

1. Giants game
2. If the Giants aren't playing, then what I consider to be the best game
3. Redzone

If the bucs are on 1pm ET, I’ll watch them then RZ for the later games, or Mrs HST’s Lions if they’re on.
If the bucs are on later I’ll usually watch Mrs HST’s lions in the 1pm ET slot if they’re there.

Towards the end of the season I’ll watch the games with playoff permutations when the bucs aren’t playing.

If you prefer redzone to watching a full game you are not a proper fan of football. Football is not all about endless touchdowns and big plays, any more than a good film is about meshing together all the action scenes from multiple different movies. You come out of a redzone game and you've seen nothing really - it's the equivalent of one of those Chinese tourist trips where you rush around taking photos of all the big sites but spend no time actually properly taking in the place you are visiting. Box ticking exercise. Seen that touchdown, seen that interception. What about the ebb and flow of a game?

The only time when I will go for redzone is if no 9:25pm game in particular takes my fancy, and only then because there are so few games on at that time that you basically get to see the whole game of each anyway. But I would never watch the total carnage that is 6pm redzone unless the game I have chosen has finished and we happen to have 2-3 games in the final 2 mins and down to the wire. If the Steelers are not on I will pick another game and watch in full.
