A win for Louie Samilton and his team mate got the crap car for once! Makes a nice change.
Also hats off to F1, Ferrari and Raikkonen for making the young fan's day after he was shown on the big screen bawling his eyes out as Kimi got shunted out of the race.

the mercedes team got there tactics spot on with putting on the slower tyres then getting some luck with the virtual safety car and sacrificing Bottas by leaving him out to slow Vettel.guess we can look forward to Monaco next where we will see even less over taking.woohoo.

Absolute mayhem at the French MotoGP! Moto3 turned into a demolition derby on lap 2 and The Doctor fell off on the last lap in the MotoGP race! Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.

Okay, we had a couple of crashes in Monaco but it was a good job I had a Sunday paper to read while the dull procession was on. Yawn!

Maybe we'll get some good crashes at Indianapolis later that same day.

Yes, you could see that one coming. Alonso is having a miserable time at McLaren in F1 because the Honda engines they're stuck with are NG.
He goes to the Indianapolis 500, he does well, he's with the leaders at the end and what happens? His rotten Honda engine croaks.
Amazing crash for Dixon, nice to see him shaken but not stirred within minutes.
Great result for Sato.

It was a cracking 500 again this year and was happy to see Dixon walk away from that crash.

Alonso is just so unlucky this year.

This weekend we have the dual in Detroit to look forwards to from the Indycar championship and the Italian round of the Moto GP.

Detroit 1 is best described as a 'technical' race, which means nothing much happened. Rahal dominated from start to finish. The only exceptional thing was that Scott Dixon finished 2nd and now tops the points table for the series.
They were telling us that Evel Knievel went one-hundred and some yards on a motorbike and ended up in hospital for a month whilst Dixon flew 300-odd yards in his car last week and was walking around afterwards -- admittedly with a sore ankle, which didn't seem to prevent him from making the 630 braking operations during 70 laps of last night's race.
But what sort of shape will be be in for tonight's?
