as much as i love Eli and believe he can still do the job, it makes no sense to keep him now, moving Beckham slams the window shut.

he is due a $5m bonus and has a big wage, might as well save it.

might as well cut anyone over 30 earning money because why do we need them?

really cant fathom what the thought is going forwards at the moment.

the D is terrible (some young players might progess, not a ton of FA pieces to make it better,) the OL is heading in the right direction but could still fall flat and we have a poor set of receivers now (Shepard has his moments but can get lost at times while Evan drops too much.)

so the team is Barkley and a declining Eli.

its quite the feat to make me wish JR had stayed in place but this guy has done it.

They do seem to be putting everything on Barkley's young shoulders and also hoping Eli can get back some of his older form.

Is there a WR in the draft they have there eyes on???

it would be a risky move tbh, 17 is a long wait if theres a WR you want.

I think most people would be surprised if more than 1 WR went before 17.

Tbh, no WR might go in the top half of the 1st round, despite the 'incredible hulk''s 40 time.

No doubt the Giants will draft a WR at #17 or #37 though.

but thats kinda what i meant, if there is 1 guy you want chances are he is the guy others want too.

it doesnt look like a class like Beckhams where there were options.

i think 2 maybe 3 go in the first round.

DK looks interesting though he has issues but someone will love those numbers plus he could be a helpful piece to the right offence.

hell he could be the guy if Gettlemans past is anything to go by.

Trae Waynes is on the trade block apparently. Due $9m this season. Think we would take a 2nd round pick for him, with our CB depth.

Very quiet on the N. Suh front. I'm quite surprised by that.

Would be happy if the Cowboys changed their approach a little and added him on a 1 year deal. Anything up to $10m in 2019 would be fine by me.

Bears are shopping Jordan Howard, with the Eagles and Raiders interested. Saints have restructured Brees' contract to free up $11m. Jets have released Isaiah Crowell.

if there was a plan all along with the Giants moving OBJ then maybe it would have been better for New York to have tried to move Eli to somewhere like Denver before the Flacco deal was done.

Is there away that the Giants extend Eli or will they just keep him and let him take the hits while they plan for 2020 onwards without him.

and today the Giants are hosting Chris Hogan,a decent receiver who sadly cant create separation.

seem's Lombardi was probably hinting at Adam Humphries who was suppose to be a done deal with the Titans but yesterday the Patriots tweaked there offer but looks like he has decided to go with the Titans.
