Definitely some value to be had in the secondary in the top half of round 2 in this draft - run on safety and a few CB's in last few picks.
Always happens to a position in each of our drafts - don't think there is a reason other than you can't pick everyone! (well unless you have all of Olly's picks)
The main stream media has those DB's rated in and around that 30-50 range too. Obviously some are higher on them than others, and there can be quite a bit of variance on the odd prospect, but for the most part that's where they are valued. Once a couple go, and depth starts to erode, people make the educated guess that they need to take one sooner rather than later. Hence the 'run'.

Pretty sure there will be another 'run' before the round is out.

Also, love the Tillery pick. When I thought it was likely I would get the Colts, he was very high on my draft board. Lacks consistency, but his upside is huge.

Pick up can someone pm next person, still in the meeting (on break!) and can’t get it to work on me phone

Explanation to follow as imagine that pick will cause a few head scratches

Oooo, and 'upside' pick. He's certainly got some positives reviews outside of the 'raw' tag that comes with being inexperienced.

Like Mick said, might as well get the ball rolling on the Gronk replacement.

Well that's an interesting pick, not surprised he went TE, just who he picked.

A very Patriot pick, ranked 14th on CBS TE ranking and 185th overall which would be the 6th Round.

Certainly differentiates himself from the rest of the class - normally these TE's are former basketball players or other positions - but a former Water Polo goalie is a new one on me! (think i read that in the transcript from this years Jeremiah's combine conf call, think he was pretty high on him)

He has a high ceiling (which is ok when you are that tall)

There are some really interesting TEs in this year's draft.

Our draft proves one thing, which is true of the real draft, if you like someone you have to go get them regardless of whether the consensus says they are worth the pick.
