Default Jammal Brown to the Redskins

Flying around the net now after some NO reporters broke it on Twitter. I hope it's a straight swap for Painsworth.....

From the Washington Post blog....

Edit: seems to be for a conditional pick, breath easy Saints fans.......

heres to hoping its a third and maybe a second depending on how may snaps he's on the field for. when healthy he is a decend LT, above average. his pro bowl in 08 was for the entire saints line in my opinion, not just his play.

it is for whichever pick is not part of the McNabb deal and possibly a late round pick

3rd or 4th (which ever the eagles dont get) in 2011, 6th Round in 2012 if incentives are hit

Wow, when the draft passed I thought our off season acquisitions would cease.

Great piece of business imo. I'm not in favour of trading away draft picks, but our offense compared with last year has been seriously upgraded.

Instead of QB Campbell and OT's Levi and Heyer, we now have McNabb, Brown and Williams. Plus we have a huge improvemeent in our Offensive Coordinator.

Is it ok to get a little excited about next season?
