Gabril Wilson for safety? It seems Y.Bell wants to test FA.

Javon Walker/Bryant Johnson? I might take Bryant as Javon has had a few injury niggles.

Gibril Wilson is agood young DB, but Eugene Wilson was the real star of the NE secondary is available (Rodney Harrison doesn't count as who knows what he's been taking lately), and eclipsed the overrrated Samuel and who I'd like us to sign.

In regards to back up quarter back I think that we could have a shot at either Anderson or Quinn depending on the current talks over in Cleveland. Both guys young and in my opinion would be better to pick up than falco????
It would be funny as hell if we got Brady after all!!! I certainly liked what I saw from Quinn in the last game he played in, he looked very poised.
Been checking the Cleveland papers as late and seems like Anderson is gonna resign, think the Browns would be mad to give up a pro bowl player and cant see quinn hanging around..... very interesting scenario as I cant see both staying. However in saying that getting Quinn or Anderson would create a bit of QB controversey in Miami dont know if thats a good or bad thing???
If Anderson has another good year it will be SD & Brees Rivers all over again. I can't see the Browns getting shut of Quinn. They are in too deep in regards to what they stand to lose. Plus Anderson is too streaky to commit to right now.

I agree mate, Anderson will most likely re-sign and you really wouldn't want to lose Quinn who does look like he could play in this league.

Yeah the Browns have invested too much in Quinn to get rid of him just yet. I'm sure they'll want Anderson to prove he is not a one season wonder before they even considder ditching Quinn.

Eugene Wilson is definitely on his way out of NE so yeah maybe either of those Wilsons I'd snap up.

Can see Todd Collins being a one year guy, caretaking the role until Beck is good and ready or being a solid back up.

I think that Chris Simms is worth a gamble. He took Tampa Bay to the playoffs in his full(ish) year as starter. He is a good pocket passe, good arm and although badly hurt last year I think that he can be a solid starter in this league. Plus he'd be cheap. When I hear the likes of Losman, Griese and Carr being suggested the more I think Chris Simms is a viable option.

I think Chris Simms might be worth a gamble. To be fair he's only had one season of decent playing time, and that year he played very well.

The question is will he ever be fully healthy again? If yes, I think the guy deserves another shot.

Some rumours for you that I picked up on from the Phinsider site:

Ernest Wilford to the Dolphins
http://www.thephinsider.com/story/2008/2/28/141633/939

Dolphins Interested in Michael Turner
http://www.thephinsider.com/story/2008/2/28/15262/4999

Dolphins Considering Move for Derek Anderson
http://www.thephinsider.com/story/2008/2/28/11533/9454

Personally, I'd be quite happy with getting Wilford in, especially if we can supplement him with Bryant Johnson. Would be a nice receiving group then I think with Wilford, Johnson and Ginn.

I really hope we don't go after Turner or Anderson.

Heres some hot rumours just off the phinsider news reel:

Apparently on ESPN News it was said that "the Dolphins could be one of the teams looking into Chargers' RB Michael Turner. Then, speaking about the Marion Barber rumors, Clayton said that a lot of that would depend on Ronnie Brown's health and what happens with Michael Turner".

I honestly thought Ronnies recovery was going well! We gotta stop all this running back nonsense! Its our strongest position - save the money and concentrate on getting bods in in pretty much all the other positions.. Or is this a smokescreen to let people know we may take McFadden in the draft!

Also watch this space but apparently Ernest Wilford may sign with us tomorrow.. If this is true it may well rule out a possible Bryant Johnson trade. On Wilford - hes a big target guy for a QB at 6'4 and 218 pounds so is a good red zone target. Hes had a fairly productive time with the Jags in 4 seasons totalling nearly 2000 yards and reeling in 14 TDs.. I think he could excel with us.. Apparently he loves to block too which is great! Hes likely to be fairly cheap too!
