I think we should keep the guy, i have said it for a while but he is our most complete WR on the roster currently.

It's a shame about Brown but he is not a starter anymore

Something in that link about 'Bears should offer Urlacher for Boldin', no way should that happen.

I'm not so sure the guys season has pretty much been a continuation of his entire career. A few good games, a few bad games and an injury to boot. He is our most gifted receiver but I don't see how Orton could rely on him because he simply is not consistent enough to be #1 or #2 on the depth chart.

I'd swap Urlacher for Boldin in a heartbeat. Not that i don't rate Urlacher but I think his best years are behind him. Briggs is our best defensive player imo. However, it is of no consequence since there is no way Arizona trade for #54 he would not be suited to a 3-4, would cost so much and his skills are heading south.

another agreement here, if we could get a decent trade for Urlacher I'd do it. Briggs is the man

On thee receiver issue. I have been giving it some thought (for a blog I'm doing on Chicago's off-season) I wouldn't mind us signing both Brandon Jones and the Jags Reggie Williams. Al-right neither a world beaters but combined with Hester and Davis it gives us a variety of skills that I think could really help us.
