Terrible trade, no one really gains. Edwards isn't the receiver he was, yet Cleveland change their pass offence from nearly terrible to completely terrible. Cleveland do slightly better out of the deal with the draft picks, I suppose it's a concession to already rebuilding for next year.

I like it, maybe a change of scenery will get him back to his 2007 form.

I would edge this trade to the Jets. Edwards has sucked badly in Cleveland since his 1 good year but most of that is down to the fact that once his head is out of the game he just doesnt give a crap, i think with a change of scenery he could be a good player again.

Honestly what have the Browns got. I know Stucky is okay i dont know the other guy and then a 3rd and 5th round pick ? I'd rather have Edwards with a change of scenery.

Edwards spent more time in bars and clubs in Ohio than preparing for games. Maybe in New York he will have even more opportunities to party hard.

i think the jets may have given up a 2nd here with a 5th and stucky, bad move, they could have waited til the draft and picked up benn low 1st who would have done a better job IMO and kept their draft picks

True, there are a fair number decent prospects next year, and with a lot less character issues.

maybe they wanted a character though? tampering allegations with crabtree, and now braylon coming in?

couple of players and two draft picks. i like the trade as Edwards had sucked recently but being on a good team going somewhere will reinvigorate him .if its a 3rd and a 5th advantage jets i feel.
