As Steelers did not sign anyone huge this year, and got rid of Holmes and Big Ben is suspended can Pittsburgh still make it this year the whole way?

thanks Chesiremilsha for that must have missed it!

Silver&Black: why would you say that, the lack of team personal or managment?

No we wont get to the playoffs. We will be a 8-8 team.

Lost too many game winners and not enough brought in. Our D should be better but the Ravens and Bungels are much improved and we are not playoff material this year.

I think we also need to look at our player recruitment in free agency as we missed some really good WR's. Look at Boldin at the Ravens, just what we needed.

I dont think another year out of the playoffs will be a bad thing but we need to bring in younger players that are hungry and improve our secondary as it is 43 v the world at the moment and he has injury issues.

We will however always stop the run!

I agree with the current situation with other teams pulling there weight it looks like Steelers are going to be left behind this year.

Whats with all this lack of belief from our own fans???

We still have a very good team that will be able to compete against any of the other top teams in the league.

Last season we had a few weakness's but a healthy Troy and the return of McFadden will improve the secondry and we have a new special teams coach and a few players added to the roster to improve kick coverage. Also a new o-line coach which might be able to rejuvinate our line, maybe take them back to basics and ask less of them for more consistant blocking. Sure Colon got injured but its not the end of the world.

Even without Ben for 4-6 games I still expect us to win 10 games and then see where that puts us in the mix.

I am fully behind our team and follow them religiously day in day out. My worry with our team is the injuries and suspensions. Ben is great QB and deserves credit I mean over 500 passing yards in one game is amazing. Colon a good O Lineman will be sorely missed with the stand in QB having even more chance of getting sacked. Apart from those concerns we have a great with youngsters like Mike Wallace and Rashard Mendenhall coming through the ranks quicker than ever. STEELERS!

I don't think you can call Mendy a youngster anymore - For a running back he should be in his prime now.
