if thats true then regarding gates thats a relief although it is early days yet to suggest he'll play verses the pats.

Floyd would be a blow but if naanee is fit then along with crayton and buster (and gates of course) we'll be ok in the receiving department.

Kaeding.....will scifers take the field goals and extra points then? i noticed he took KO's? or will they find a FA?
he's an article on the above

Jackson to report on the 29th, NFL.com.

Here's hoping he can have a positive effect on the team!

Gates likely to be a game time decision

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2...nday-decision/

The article also mentions that Floyd and Naanee look increasingly unlikely to play sunday.

A Kevin Acee tweet says he expects Tutu to be promoted from the PS to cover for Floyd and Naanee.

As CALkulon said, Jackson to report October 29th, heres the article

Receiver decimation

It is likely the Chargers will promote rookie wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu from the practice squad before Sunday, as they could well be down to two healthy veteran receivers on Sunday – not to mention a hobbled Gates.

Only one veteran receiver, Patrick Crayton, practiced Thursday.

Malcom Floyd is not going to play, and Legedu Naanee missing practice Thursday signals he is likely to miss a second straight game. Both have hamstring strains.

Buster Davis missed Thursday’s practice with soreness in the ribs he injured two weeks ago in Oakland. Davis played last Sunday and is expected to practice today.

Also - Mathews Returned to practice on thursday

I really hope Tutu is promoted, and takes his chance (presuming the ball is actually put his way).

What do you think we do about Floyd next year?

Well what do we do with Floyd and Naanee as they are both out of contract this summer?

I think we'll target a WR in the draft. Crayton isnt the future. I dont see a trade value for davis so as he has this seasona and next season left on his contract, he stays.

We cant let both Floyd and Naanee go.

I deally we re sign both and add a WR in the draft but before Naanee gets re signed he needs to show some more in the coming weeks.

Floyd needs to be re signed because of his height and the deep threat he posseses! He's probably at his best as a number 2 but i look forward to seeing him as the number 1 against the better defences as the year goes on
