Anyone got much to say about how Welks only played 60% of snaps (compared to >85% last year...)? Could be the team showing him what they think, whilst seeing what else they have?

As I said, we have Lloyd who caught as many passes in that game as Chad did over the first 8 weeks.....so we have alternatives, although there were a few plays with both Welks and MiniWelks on the field at the same time.

It may be too early to say after 1 week as they change their gameplan so much from week to week. It could be that Welker plays a big part in the next couple of weeks but it could also be looking to the future and seeing if Edleman is the awnser.

Either way the next couple of games should tell us.

Agreed he can still improve on his accuracy but that TD pass to Nate Washington was impeccable, his throw on the run is amazing.

If CJ2K has another bad week then I will petitioning for Darius Reynaud to be the starting RB because he's excellent and painfully underrated.

Not quite as big a win as I thought, though we left a few points on the field by burning clock, not even trying for first downs, and letting the backups play, late in the game. Not too bad a prediction though eh?
