So, any views on how things are looking for our last season in Oakland?

It's make or break for Derek Carr I think. He became a bit of a check down charlie last year and might have caught Rabbit in Headlights syndrome off his brother? It's also a big year for Conley and Joseph.

We churned a lot of players signing 10 and losing 12 I think. Obviously the big one is Antonio Brown; personally I don't know. Bit of a diva maybe and he'll lose a few games this year. I have a feeling it won't end well. Him and Richie 'needs to be a bit more' Incognito (if he makes the roster) might blow up our locker room? Trent Brown was a great pick up.

I like our draft. Ferrell is going to blow it up. I think Jacobs could go over 1000 yards in his first year if our line holds together and Abrams could really help the DB's.

Schedule is brutal early on, eases up a bit later, gets tough again at the end. AFC West is pretty strong anyway but we have few games you put a W against without thinking.

My view: after an all too brief few seasons of wary optimism it's back to tedium for us this year. A losing record, 4-6 wins for me.

Think you are spot on about Carr, hopefully the improvement to the O-Line means he can return to the player he was a couple of seasons ago otherwise our #1 draft pick next year will be a QB.

I think the offense and Carr will improve, but I'm more worried about the defense. Ferrell and Abram are good additions, but we have failed to address the LB for years and Burfict and Marshall don't instill a great deal of confidence. 6 or 7 wins with a brutal schedule and a tough division would be a decent sendoff.

Forgot to say I think we're looking at 5-7 wins in our last season in Oakland.

I'm assuming that management are planning on overhauling the LB unit next year through the draft.

Dylan Moses and Paddy Fisher are the two MLBs being mocked to next year’s first round.

A lot depends on how Arden Key and Kolton Miller develop as we may end up needing another pass rusher and OT to bookend Clelin Ferrell and Trent Brown. If we’re in the Top 10 again then perhaps AJ Epenesa or Andrew Thomas will be considered.

I think Miller will do ok this season, the rest of the line should be better and after last season I think he'll have developed to where he should have been last season.
