Exclamation Broncos 2011/12 schedule

With the schedule being released yesterday I was wondering what everyone thought out final Win/Loss would be at the end of the season. Here's my prediction:

Week 1 - Raiders - Win
Week 2 - Bengals - Win
Week 3 - Titans - Win
Week 4 - Packers - Loss
Week 5 - Chargers - Loss
Week 6 - BYE
Week 7 - Dolphins - Win
Week 8 - Lions - Win
Week 9 - Raiders - Loss
Week 10 - Chiefs - Loss
Week 11 - Jets - Loss
Week 12 - Chargers - Loss
Week 13 - Vikings - Loss
Week 14 - Bears - Loss
Week 15 - Patriots - Loss
Week 16 - Bills - Win
Week 17 - Chiefs - Loss

That leaves the final standing at 6-10, not playoff bound but some good wins and some good teams to compare ourselves too. On another note does this schedule look really difficult for a team with the 2nd pick in the draft?

Lets see what the rest of Broncos country makes of our schedule!

This puts us at a 7-9 Season. Its gonna be a difficult Season (It was going to be anyway with the Teams we have to play), and I reserve the right to change my mind afer the Draft (Incase John Fox DOES decide to take a QB at #2 for Some bizarre reason). I haven't got much hope for a Winning Season...or many wins for that matter...2012/13 Season should be a great season though...

I think an 8-8 season would be great for the Roster we have and the teams we have to play, the Chiefs should be strong again, the Raiders have the talent to win, and the Chargers will be as unpredictable as ever in the division, outside of the AFC West the AFC East have two top teams in the Patriots and Jets and then two teams on a par with us in the Dolphins and Bills, throw into that some playoff contenders and the SuperBowl champs and you have one very tough schedule for a team like us. I hope Tebow is given a chance this season though, I beleive he can definitely bring something new to the Broncos that we need, then hopefully like you say the 12/13 season can give us a winning season!

Week 1 v Oakland – WIN – there’s no way we lose an opener on MNF.
Week 2 v Cincinnati – WIN – Cincy project to be awful this year
Week 3 @ Tennessee – WIN – They’ll still be installing a new QB, post lockout.
Week 4 @ Green Bay – LOSE – for obvious reasons
Week 5 v San Diego – LOSE – the bolts are probably gonna solidly take the West this year
Week 6 – BYE
Week 7 @ Miami – WIN – I have the fins going 4-12 this year
Week 8 v Detroit – LOSE – with Stafford back they will be a real threat
Week 9 @ Oakland – LOSE – just a feeling
Week 10 @ Kansas City – LOSE – this back to back is horrible
Week 11 v NY Jets – LOSE – they could go all the way this year
Week 12 @ San Diego – LOSE – see Week 5
Week 13 @ Minnesota – LOSE – the Vikes will stink, but will probably sneak one against us.
Week 14 v Chicago – LOSE – Cutler will hang a 40-burger on us, then pull his pants down and crap on the midfield.
Week 15 v New England – LOSE – see Week 4
Week 16 @ Buffalo – LOSE – Christmas Eve in Buffalo? Would you give a toss?
Week 17 v Kansas City – WIN – end with a bit of home pride

So… 5-11 and joint third in division with Oakland, behind 11-5 San Diego and 6-10 Kansas City. I had us going 6-12 last year, thinking I was being pessimistic, so at that rate we’ll probably end up picking Andrew Luck in the 2012 draft…

Week 1 - Raiders - Win
Week 2 - Bengals - Win
Week 3 - Titans - Loss
Week 4 - Packers - Loss
Week 5 - Chargers - Loss
Week 6 - BYE
Week 7 - Dolphins - Win
Week 8 - Lions - Win

Week 10 - Chiefs - Win
Week 11 - Jets - Loss
Week 12 - Chargers - Loss
Week 13 - Vikings - Win
Week 14 - Bears - Loss
Week 15 - Patriots - Loss

I was half expecting a "Broncos fans - register your interest for tickets to see your former QB at Wembley" thread.

I think a wildcard team will need 11 wins minimum this year. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New England and the Jets will all win 10+ games. They could all easily win 14 with their 2011 schedules.

9-7 could win the division though.
