Currently deciding between Utah, and Texas El Paso. Both have great stadium backdrops, both have cool uniforms....

I'm currently swaying more and more to PSU, they are the team I tend to read news about first
Think I will wait till season starts, but if I had to make a choice right now it'd be PSU, but keeping a close eye and having a soft spot for The U
Didn't help the Panthers drafting a U guy either though ha

I studied at UL-Lafayette (the Ragin Cajuns) for 4 years and have fond memories of watching them on Autumn saturdays.

I then worked at the University of Oklahoma for 2 years and that's when I really fell in love with college football. They absolutely live and die for the Sooners around there. Again, I have wonderful memories of crisp Autumn Saturdays stood watching the Sooners in Norman.

I've softly adopted Michigan the past 2 years (mostly due to the big house!) but i'll be honest i've struggled to get massively into it.

Quite keen to go SEC but really not sure which college. As a Lions fan, i certainly don't mind if they're a successful program to balance things out!

I've been a PSU fan for the last 2 years. I've adopted them as my team after reading a fictional story about a kid going from highschool football to playing at PSU and the NFL.

I had actually watch American football when channel 4 first broadcasted it in the UK in the 80's but only followed it for a year but couldn't really understand it. It was reading that story that gave me insight into the rules in more detail and also some of the basic strategies of the game. Been hooked ever since, even through the bad last year of Hackenberg at QB .

I don't really understand the thinking behind switching teams each year, cos sticking to one team it's so much sweeter when they win, especially unexpectedly like PSU last year .

Got a good Head Coach in Frank Solich too. One of the few long tenured MAC coaches.

Hey! I thought this was the epic thread from a few years ago. Mine:
Boise State - Love an underdog, love the blue, love the Broncos.
Miami (FL) - Went to a game in Miami and bought a Canes jersey.
Northwestern - Have a friend who worked for the Wildcat football programme.
Texas A&M - have friends whose family are season-ticket holders.
USF - Went to a game at the Ray Jay, but it wasn't as fun as Miami. Also, they suck.
Washington - Chris Peterson (former BSU coach).

All those programmes who get continually over-ranked because of their "history" - Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, USC.
