same here...Had 3 emails from Ticketmaster so far about dispatch , all a bit vague and I would suggest they are behind and are preparing people for non arrival in some cases.

Their incompetence as a company is causing a lot of people to become worried about their tickets and costing people hundreds of pounds unnecessarily. There will be hundreds of people having to think about back up plans due to their'couldn't care less about the paying customer' attitude.

The venue change is a complete red herring. They were notified on 13th August some 7/8 weeks ago and they had plenty of time before that to prepare as there were rumblings months before that the venue may change.

Its negligence on their part and one that has cost me £600 so far..plus how much I will have to pay to get more tickets while mine in club Wembley lay on my doormat unused.

Disgusted.

This is a painful lesson as to why you shouldn't use the unofficial secondary market. It's a risk you took.

I'm sympathetic but the long term solution is a proper official secondary market with print at home / electronic tickets, and not keep feeding the unofficial secondary market which has a range of risks.

As others suggest, getting them sent to your accommodation is an obvious option

I find, like hotel prices, ticketing agencies needs to be the next industry investigated and put under tougher regulations to stop them becoming the total scam they are hurtling towards. I interviewed with quite a prolific third-party ticketing agency around this time last year that work under an umbrella so no consumer knows their true registered name, and some of the things I found it in the interview were enough to raise the red in you.

I've been a ST holder now for seven years and this year I won't be as I can no longer afford to do three weekends in London, and to me it has to be a weekend to make the trek from Devon worthwhile. Hotels, rising food costs and the releasing of tickets just before Christmas have seen to that and getting tickets for just Eagles v Jags this year was a complete nightmare. Clear that Ticketmaster put funnels in place that led you to believe certain sections of tickets were all sold out so you bought more expensive ones in desperation, when in fact they weren't. And I wanted end zone lower tickets which aren't cheap anyway, and I did eventually get by bizarrely entering in interest in sideline seats! Hmmmm.

Me and the missus have recently moved and, to rarely tip my hat to Ticketmaster, they did quickly change the delivery address but I've since had two different emails both vaguely telling me tickets are being printed and dispatched but with no further clarification. Nothing has changed on My Ticketmaster page though and given not everyone attending this event lives in London, it's ludicrous that tickets can be risked to be sent out so late for those travelling before the weekend.

They'll claim it's to prevent tickets being sold on vastly overpriced etc. I saw Ed Sheeran this summer, same story, wanted you to bring ID blah blah no one ever checked a bloody thing! Until proper, enforceable regulation is put in place on these ticketing agencies nothing is going to change from reasonable levels of customer service to tickets being sold on at vastly inflated rates. Christ, where the NFL is concerned the ticket touts stand at the bottom of the Wembley station steps doing their business right in front of the OB like they are on escort so what do we expect....

Wink

Some good rants on here and I agree that Ticketmaster have not always been the best, but we are still 10 days away from the first game, so unless you are on a very long weekend in London there is still a fair bit of time before you need to go into full on panic mode.

Re costs, easy ways to save money include, not eating at Wembley/tailgate etc, if you need to stay over, stay the Sunday night, loads of cheap hotels in central London on Sunday, especially around the City. I am on the 7am train out of London and its dirt cheap as commuters are heading in the opposite direction (and therefore don't need to use a days holiday on the Monday). Drink a few less beers and avoid the merch tent!!! wink!

These are good shouts but it depends on where you live in the UK. I suffer at the hands of First Great Western trains so a quick, cheap train up on Sunday and back early Monday is not possible. I use the coach because its door to door not much less travelling time but is significantly cheap but they run one Sunday service that does not match the game times, I don't live completely in the back of beyond but I'm a lot more rural than just the outskirts of Bristol, let's put it like that. I don't find hotels cheap wherever you look or for however long you stay, unless you want to run the risk of the upstairs of a b n b or a private room in a hostel. I am taking the missus away for the game this year and have talked her into it with tickets to see Matilda on Saturday night. I completely agree about food and drink but unless your eating by yourself, the rest of the weekend it's easy to see the bills rise. For us born and bred Londoners we know where the best value for money is, other tourists are easily ripped off by the plethora of fake upmarket chains and gourmet burger rubbish.

Big yes to avoiding the merchandising tent though. Lord knows why people buy stuff from there at the games. The prices are hugely inflated, the variety of gear is terrible and the queue is longer than back to the tube after the game. That's people with more money than sense and drawn in by the sense of occasion and it does them out of pocket every single time.
