Which train do you normally have to take when you're staying in London? Because last year, for some reason, my group and whole bunch of other people took a train and still had to walk like 4km to get anywhere near the stadium.

When the game ended we were able to get to a trains tation pretty close by. So I don't know if there was a problem when we were going to see the game or if we just took the wrong train. Maybe some part of the tracks were closed off...? I have no idea.

Can anyone familiar with the London tube/train network shed some light on this?

Here is the link to the Tube Map. Last year there was a problem on the Bakerloo line which meant we had to get bus near to Stonebridge park, but it is only say a 20-30min walk from that station to the stadium. This line would take yu to Wembley Central, come out the station and turn right again roughly 15min walk to the stadium.

The other line is purple and thats the one which takes you right to the stadium.

If you go to the National Express website they are running a coach up from Exeter to Wembly for £35.

Leaves Exeter at 9.40am and gets to Wembly at 2.15pm with the return leaving at 9.15pm and arriving in Exeter at 1.45am on Monday Morning.
