the bale situation is weird. is it true that in all his years in spain he never learned the language.

he'll need to take a drastic wage cut wherever he goes next.
RM don't want him

pretty odd situation were the talent is there, the manager dislikes him but because of the form/injuries the contract and fee will put many off.

people seem to blow it up, others say he knows enough to get by.

plus he doesnt need to learn it, some people dont pick up languages well.

i have no clue why people get upset about such things, it feels right wing, need to learn the language and such, let the fella be.

he seemed to be fine scoring those goals to win the CL.

its all going to come down to money and how desperate Madrid and Zidane are to get him out the door.he is reportedly on £600k+ a week and still has something like 3 years left on his contract.

any team looking at Bale will want him cheap to take on his salary or will be happy to pay a loan fee as long as Madrid help pay his wages.

wonder if the Bale situation will stop the Hazard move or if that's why Zidane wants Bale gone.

That's got to have something to do with it.

If he doesn't fit (which is nonsense really) then Madrid need to move on asap, even if it costs them a lot of money. No point paying a player that much if you have no intention of playing him, and he's clearly unhappy with the situation (if not the pay cheque).

They should send him to Utd in exchange for Pogba.

Bale can't stay fit. Thats the main reason why Real want rid and why he will be a big risk for whoever signs him

ManU are desperate enough to sign him but top teams are likely to stay away

i know there dumb but Pogba is worth a pretty penny and theres talk of Real letting him walk just to get out of that contract, i think Bale going somewhere on loan is the most likely outcome.

it would be a very short sighted move, a team that have talent and need a boost might work.
United need to rip it all down and buy young talent, rather than add another massive contract.

i guess Spurs could work on very kind terms, maybe Bayern coming calling.

i'd rather he knew how to speak to his teammates and neighbours and not isolate himself after getting paid millions.

it ain't 'right-wing' to say thus. it shows dedication and respect after all these years and wage packets.

if he was in a dressing room full of Spanish players sure but in an international dressing room English is likely to be one of the common languages.

it feels down those lines with the whole fitting in, he turns up to do his job.
while in another country it would be helpful to speak the language but its only really a disadvantage to him.

let people be

and i'm pretty sure he paid them back with some key goals.

Booooo!

Matthijs De Ligt looks set to join Barca. No doubt Frenkie De Jong too. Following in Cruyff's footsteps always a big draw for Ajax/Dutch players.

Barca will have to do some juggling with their squad, but with Ter Stegen, Umtiti, Lenglet and De Ligt they look more than solid at the back for the long term. Guessing De Ligt will captain Barca at some point down the line.

Barca needs a fresh injection of talent after some relative whiffs.
i guess he was using the English interest to get a good deal but theres still a chance his agent tries to get more out of it.

De Jong signed for Barca in January and Umtiti might leave.
