i guess he was using the English interest to get a good deal but theres still a chance his agent tries to get more out of it.

De Jong signed for Barca in January and Umtiti might leave.
Didn't realise De Jong had been finalised.

Even without Umtiti that's a nice young core at the back..

If he doesn't fit (which is nonsense really) then Madrid need to move on asap, even if it costs them a lot of money. No point paying a player that much if you have no intention of playing him, and he's clearly unhappy with the situation (if not the pay cheque).

They should send him to Utd in exchange for Pogba.
the fact that Zidane has made it so obvious that Bale has no future any team in Europe will happily claim they cant afford Bale so Madrid are going to have to help pay for him to play elsewhere like James with Bayern.

They say he's on 600k a week. That can't be true....... can it?!

read it could be $650k a week, guess this is why they want to move him on as he seemed to get a premium when Ronaldo was there been paid a fortune but now they can start paying there new signings more in line with the rest of Europe bar Messi/Ronaldo.

Well, if Aaron Ramsey’s getting £400,000 a week...

I understand image rights could be in the mix, although that's not straight forward depending on the club.

The thought Bale's salary is £30m/year is pretty crazy though, imo. To buy him out of his remaining 3 years, £90m? That's more than they paid for him wasn't it?

Ramsey's pay, even on a free is crazy. I can't see him being a success in Turin. He'll be a very expensive squad player, who's contract could upset the apple cart. Now Allegri has left too.

it might turn out to be a bargain for Juve if after 1 season they turn around and sell him on for £30m+ back to a premier league club if he struggles.

A fair bit of drama in Serie A today it would seem, but in the end Atalanta and Inter hold on to the CL spots and Empoli are relegated.

Spaletti out at Inter. Guess Conte will be officially announced soon.

Inter are such a strange club when it comes to building sides. It feels like they throw a fair bit of money around but there never seems to be a plan. They either spend poorly or buy players that don't really fit.

It'll be interesting to see if that changes under Marotta and Conte.
