Default What are your feelings towards the Bengals

I know im a Packers fan but I also love the Browns
Im just wondering what the relationship is between Cleveland and Cincinnati?
They're both from Ohio but they're in the same division
Is their hatred?
or is it a respect rivalry?
or is it Browns fans support Ohios other team if the Bengals are in the playoffs and the Browns aren't?
I have never really known

I can only speak for myself but im a regular on a couple of Browns chat sights etc and the general feeling i get is that we arent really that bothered about em to be honest and i dont think we really respect them, Sure there is the Ohio thing but we see the Steelers and Ravens as our rivals and the Bengels basically make the numbers up.

They really dislike us which is fair enough as i guess we do look down on them, we certainly support any team who plays them in the post season and there is no stae love for em, infact most Browns fans support the Browns and the Ohio state Buckeyes and the Bengles are considered as nothing more than Ohio 3rd team

If you want to go and see any game in the states then go for it. You wont get any abuse or any trouble in Cincy just because you like the Browns, you may get a few unpleasent comments but its generally good natured, its nothing like football over here in terms of violence, i have been to Cleveland 4times and Pittsburgh and NY to see the Browns and have never seen any trouble or fighting, the worst incident i have seen was a Browns fan throwing a cup of beer/soda etc at a Vikings fan and he was then arrested.

You wont have a problem and you should even be able to buy some Browns gear there as well if you want

I personally hate the Steelers and Ravens more than the expansion team from up North. Even the Oilers used to come higher on my radar than the Browns.

They're a ''who cares'' team I'm afraid, who's fans still live in the black & white era. Its embarrassing to read sometimes, it would be like Accrington Stanley fans crowing about how they used to win the Football League years & years ago.

There's only one team in Ohio who's made it to Super Bowls.......

............and it ain't the Browns mate.

Irish just incase your wondering a SB is just another name for a NFL Championship, we have 4 wins and the Bengels have none and likely to never win anything that is why Cinncy is refered to across the entire US as no Title town

After all why have two of them bothered to reply and come onto a Browns group

No Irish, you're being duped by spin (what else would you expect from a Labour luvvie)

Its just the same as an NFC Championship.

If you're going to Wembley Irish, LBD might even show you his signed leather helmet from back in the day

No different as AFL Championships mate. BUT..........

........by 1966 an NFL Championship wasn't enough to be the best, had to be a Superbowl mate.

The Browns only played about 7 teams back in 1867 to win their titles mate

EDIT: I aways have the feeling of deja vu when discussing the finer points with you LBD
