I remember seeing a taxi in Oxford once with the number plate BU51 NOT, I don't think it was intentional but made me and my mates laugh when you think about how it reads as a "not" joke.

BL11 CKS

On a 5series BMW driving along the A27 this evening. A rather pathetic attempt at incorporating a swear word into a number plate.

Range Rover ending in: F U D. Very amusing.

Another ending in: K K K. White car, natch.

That looks like it could just be a genuine plate though, rather than a personalised one?

If it is a genuine attempt then it is awful, but it's so bad, it can't be... right?

M155 COW

A red Mini Cooper (female driver unsurprisingly) spotted yesterday afternoon in virtually the same spot on the A27 as my post of the other day.

A colleague of mine was searching the DVLA website with various 'funny(ish)' plates. Trying to get something that hadn't been spotted as one that could spell out a word or abbreviation.

In the end he got S111Y HO for the base price (the minimum you pay for any plate). He drove round with it for a year or so and then sold it on for a decent profit.

On a more relevant note:
Only 35 years to go until we can get SF 49 ERS
