Default roster trimming

I am not at all happy about Clutts be traded, he snaps, catches and blocks: If our running game stinks because of TEs that think lead blocking means giving a guy a good shove in the chest I shall be pissed.

I'm not shocked McCown got cut simply because a suited 3rd QB is something you hope not to need. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him back again.

Don't see why we traded Clutts, who had a great season last year, for a 5th round CB from the Texans.

Mccown had to go because we're keeping Podlesh and Quigley.

Clutts should feel hard done by lads. Blocked well last year as Da Bears rushed for 2k which had not happenned for a while. A bit worried about ST's and I think the staff are also.

uh-oh ,on chicagobears.com they said that tice likes TE to block for the RB, does this is give anyboby terrible flashbacks to mike martz scheme / sackfest on cutler?

my point exactly. at 7-3 with clutts blocking for forte he was headed for 2k scrimmage yards and the stand in cameo as long snapper makes this a baffling move. hope i am wrong but as my wife reminds me i seem to know it all.....

FBs are human steam rollers, I just don't see a TE flying head first into the line. It seems most likely we will run outside a lot; we did that very well last year, but what happens on the goalline? 3&1?

Made no sense to me either loved the way Clutts played, i remember John Gruden praising his performances last year and saying the bears had a fb for years to come, puzzling move.
