Just want to put it out there the overly zealous positive medias reporting for the NFC West is something bit weird considering just a few seasons back.

Each team not named Arizona is getting the NFC East treatment from the media while the NFC East is pretty silent this offseason. 2013 strange season for football.

I think it WILL happen. As a Dolphin fan since 1985 im proud of the undefeated record but i didnt think Marinos records would be broken. It did due partially to changing the rules regarding protecting the QB and Defensive back rules. That undefeated record will get equalled one day. If i was a betting man i would say the 49ers are in a good position. Its not the holy grail.

It will happen and probably soon.

It's more likely these days than ever with the elite QB's having more of a monopoly on the league than ever.

I STILL can't believe that New England didn't join the club a few years ago.

They were so UNSTOPPABLE all year. The best team in 30 years. Less than 2 minutes from perfection....just unbelievable.

It's crazy to think that Wes Welker has never won a Superbowl. Do you think he could win one at Denver?

50/50 chance, can easily see them in NYC, not sure they can beat the 49ers though

Wow...Kool-Aid much? Why did they lose to the worst regular-season champ ever then?

1998 Broncos (14-2) would have kicked the crap out of those Pats. Two 1,000 yard receivers and a 2,000 yard rusher...Denver was undefeated when they clinched home field for the playoffs...they sandbagged and tanked their last 2 games to rest for the playoffs.

Not to mention 1993 Dallas (11 Pro Bowlers on that squad.)...or the 1992 Cowboys...Cowboys O-line had 3 freshly minted Pro Bowlers who were prime and dominating for Emmitt.

I forgot about Favre...1996 Packers...led the league in points scored (like the '07 Pats) but unlike the Pats...Packers also led the league in fewest points allowed...only two teams have ever done this in the SB era. The Minister would have had Brady praying.

Oh yeah...and this team called "The 1989 Forty-Niners."
